I totally understand how hard it is to balance all your hobbies in one day, and to want to do this. I read, I want to write, I paint and I like to watch stuff, and I want to read and write academic papers for my job and start my PhD journey and somehow I want to make time for all of this in my day everyday. 😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀 ofc I fail. Also, books and all sorts of media like books and music are able to make me ugly cry too, I feel them on a deep level like you. 🍇

i completely relate to what you said about books that make you cry. it's so beautiful to read a book that makes you understand or feel your own emotions as well as those that the book makes you feel.

🍇oh my god, i so relate to having trouble balancing your hobbies. i just got into kdramas and its just so easy to lose myself in a good drama and forget about reading, I have honestly been struggling with the same problem even tho i love reading.
Also, i completely understand what you said abt books that make cry ur eyes out, it really makes u feel sorta connected to something larger than urself.

I never see people reading Jack London's works. He is one of my favorites and I intensely want to recommend him to you guys, especially Martin Eden. I see people on CZcams and other social media platforms tend to read YA books solely since they are easy to read and consume but I feel pitty because you guys don't have any idea about so many beautiful authors and their works. Brooo after reading MxTx books online years ago, I learned to love to read. Now I love to collect English physical copies of danmei books. Which is why I clicked on this video after seeing Tgcf in the thumbnail.

The chaffeuring part reminded me that city planning in the US does not help kids get around... and it's so sad. Exclusive zoning does not make sense.
I'm im Eastern Europe and live in a city of 100k (sizable in my tiny country). I live in an area with private houses (lots are about 600-900 sq m) but the district school is 3 min walk away, I have 2 grocery stores 500m away, another one 800m away, I have 3 bus stops within 400m where I can hop on a bus that will take me downtown in 5-10mins.... and my kids will be able to take the bus easily when it's time to go to school. Houses outside the city limit can be cheaper (not in terms of price but you get bigger lots) BUT many of those places are not within the range of frequent bus service (yet), so you'd be depending on cars.
I grew up taking the bus from one side of town to another for my hobbies since I was 5. So... that was a big factor in deciding on the location for the house.
When I studied in the US I sometimes took the bus to the shopping centre that went through subrubs where there were no sidewalks. I was very confused.... until I learned about zoning and cars etc.

Finishing the shorter books I'm reading first might be the smart choice, instead I'm reading the stories that have as much chapters as the short books have pages XD

Tomorrow x3 made me sob so much it was insane and frankly I wasn't expecting the thing that happened to happen but I should have learned from little life that when life starts picking up it finds a way to get ruined again (those who get it, get it) so yea I was a mess for a good 30 minutes before I could continue the book 😢

I’m the same way about news and things, emotions that hit way harder than a regular person, it’s called being an empath and I found this out not long ago, I just thought I was a cry baby and dumb for feeling so deeply but it’s none of those things, we just relate and have a way of putting ourselves in those shoes in a way that we also feel the emotions of others.
