I have a salmon recipe, too, but I bake it as one unit with the veggies, rosemary and lemon juice. Really yummy!

Yep, yummy and healthy. We also have a smoothie for breakfast and salmon with potatoes and carrots. But it takes a while cooking it and it's far from a minimalist style...
I expected a video with a minimalist style where meals take 5 minutes in total to prepare, full of raw stuf that can be used and eaten asa they are.

@@florinmarcu3206 Minimalism is not about the amount of time that it takes to prepare something. minimalism does not mean vegan or raw. More than anything, minimalism is about being mindful and slowing down. That is exactly what Ashlynne did for this video. Having something be entirely raw and take five minutes to prepare is an unrealistic expectation. As long as this is meal that works for them personally, that is what matters. Besides, imagine how much longer the meal would have taken to make if every time Ashlynne went to get an ingredient there were shelves exploding with stuff and a pantry filled with ingredients she had forgotten about.

One of my favorite whole food snacks/sweets is a couple dates with peanut butter and even fancier adding mini chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts! Also, frozen slightly defrosted banana in a bowl with all that, minus the dates but adding a little maple syrup and sea salt, amazing!

Growing in an arabian country this snack has been one of my daily routine. Home made dates with peanut butter and sometimes chocolate is the best. And I’m surprised people outside like it.
I love how each of these meals are realistic for a healthy diet! Would love to see more videos like this in the future since I love gaining inspiration for healthy options :)

I love the simplicity! As hot as it’s been, we have actually been enjoying smoothies for dinner! The temperatures in the 110’s, this is a wonderful option that doesn’t heat up the house and helps give us a satiating meal! You just have to be very mindful of how do you make them in order to make them satisfying. Making sure to add protein fat and fiber. An instant pot or quick pot is also a wonderful way to cook something more wholesome without heating up the house!

Okay but your breakfast and lunch are almost identical to mine 😱 The smoothie is so good. I add a tablespoon or two of yogurt to mine as well. It’s super refreshing.
You always make such relaxing videos to watch. Your voice is very soothing to hear. Thank you. :) I wish I could eat spinach and almonds. However, I have kidney stones. Spinach and almonds are high in oxalates. Eating high amounts of oxalates (like spinach and almonds) can cause kidney stones. After many surgeries, I'm done with spinach and almonds forever.
Everything looked fabulous. If you like cinnamon you should try sprinkling some on your banana & pb rice crackers. I eat the same combo on toast & cinnamon is a nice touch. Blueberries also work well in place of bananas.
My husband and i try to eat more simply and make more meals so we can save for what we love, travel, experiences and occasional fun treats too. Smoothies are the best 👏💕

Tip: never put honey before the boiling water in the tea. From the heat it loses all of the benefits, over 40 Celsius it will be just sweet, without vitamins or antioxidants. :) Don’t waste bees hard work! 😌🐝

I love chocolate too but I have to eat it in the morning or the caffeine keeps me up all night
Oh interesting!! I definitely fine coffee keeps me up, but I don’t really notice that chocolate has an impact for me 🤍
@@AshlynneEaton I'm just super sensitive to caffeine and I metabolized it very slowly.
So if I understood correctly, your lunch is 2 rice cakes, 0.5 banana, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, and 2 peaches? That makes up around 317 calories out of which only 7g is protein... The recommended protein intake whith each meal is 20-30g. Dinner looks awesome, love salmon! But please add more protein to your breakfast and lunch!
Hey! You’re right that almond butter does have less protein. But between the salmon, collagen powder (which has 10g) and the almond butter, I did still generally fall within the recommended protein intake for the day. 🤍
Also, keep in mind that I don’t religiously track macros. So some days I might have a bit more protein, other is a bit less. My goal is just to eat intuitively and in a way that feels balanced 🥰🤍

This is also just one day of her life, we have days where we eat more or less, that’s just how it be sometimes haha
@@crazymumlife8735 I didn't say you have to track everything you eat. Since 1 year ago I've started exercising more and I was feeling tired a lot and couldn't finish my workouts. Then I've started tracking what I eat and was astonished to find out that I was short of 1 meal worth of calories every day. By tracking my intake I've learned what diet works for me. I am not tired anymore and I am very grateful for having learned this by tracking my intake.
Your favorite thing is my least favorite thing. Hahaha I can't stand the taste of chocolate!! But I do love the smell of it.

Well, you should try and embrace being vegetarian too. :)
I won't say be vegan, there are many nutrients people get from foods like yogurt, honey etc. But try to be kind to animals. Being vegetarian is the least we can do as a human being.
I am vegan and not deficient in any way. Being vegetarian isn't being kind to animals. The dairy industry is very cruel and the animals end up being killed for meat when no longer any use. There is a utube film called Dairy is scary. I recommend watching it.You might think differently.😊
