Sure! Finding categories is just two steps. First identify a book on Amazon that is similar to the one you want to make. Second, if you look in the top left corner, you will see all of the categories listed for that book!

Hey Renee, When doing Mazes and coloring books, do you have to do the A+ content description before you upload it? I watched Sean earlier today, as I have been doing every day for three or more weeks. As a result, I've seen each of his videos at least five times, but I always catch something I missed the last time I watched. Today, I caught the A+ content description but have yet to hear what type of book it needs to be applied to. BTW: This was a great video! Thank you for what you do and the energy you put into it. I'm sure that book will do well. If Wheeler Walker Jr. can write, record, tour, and sell 70 million albums, 6 of which are Platinum and 20 Gold records, your book will have no problem reaching the masses.
I am never ashamed to admit when I don't know something - I love learning new things - and I've never heard of A+ content before! I'm diving into it now, and I'll definitely be making a video about it. Thank you for the tip!
@@reneefclancy you probably already know this, but the reason the A+ content came up is because Amazon discontinued the Look Inside feature of the books they sell. It’s always something!

There are definitely ways you can format and create books without Bookbolt. It will take longer, but if you are OK with managing the process, I believe you can do it all through Google Docs. Also, you would have to find a different way to do your own research, but maybe you could get started this way and as you start earn money then subscribe to bookbolt? Just a suggestion!

Are these books sold through the print on demand option or are kdp’s different? Sorry there’s so many options for selling and I’m trying to wrap my head around where to start with passive selling both books and t-shirts.
Hello! KDP is Amazon's 'print on demand' program. So think of it like if you want to print shirts, mugs, etc... then I use Printify as the source to manage my files and products, and when I want to print or produce books, then KDP is my source to manage the files. I hope that helps!
Thanks so much for explaining that. It can get confusing to work out what everything means and what options there are when starting out. There feels like there are too many options sometimes when trying to find out what will work best for me. I will definitely keep exploring and creating and see how I go :)

I suggest to do a variety of things - run ads, talk about your book on social media, give out free copies for people to write reviews - do a little of everything!

Sorry, I can't help you here. I just know that it is possible to do all of the formatting without these paid programs such as Book Bolt. These programs just make it a lot easier. I'm sure after doing your research, you'll figure it out!

Yes! I would say to definitely start with medium content books. The low content book area is so saturated.

My honest thought about any side gig (including KDP) is that it is a great way to earn some extra money, but it takes YEARS for it to become a full time job. I believe that someone should keep their day job, and play around with KDP and other platforms for some fun, extra money.

Great question! From everything I’ve seen and been required to do, I just have to check a box noting that the image is created with AI. It then asks me how many images or if the whole book was created with AI.

I just started publishing and I can’t set my prices that low because the printing itself starts at like $6.How do you get your books to be that affordable?
They are priced pretty low - I'm hoping that by selling in quantity, and with multiple publications, that is how the profits will continue to increase.

I tried to publish a paperback version of a 45 page ebook but kdp is saying it has to be a minimum of 75 pages to do a paperback.
Is there a way around it ?

I created a medium content book before finding your channel and I uploaded on Amazon KDP but it has been four days now and it’s still not approved and review. How long does this usually take?
Sometimes it does take that long - you may want to check it to see if they've recommended any changes. If not, then it should be approved soon.

Not completely yet. I still use it when I need some PNG designs for my kids channel or text for my CZcams banners. But I’m sure as soon as I learn how to do that on kettl, no reason to work in two different places!

It takes a long time to build a business and a steady income - I'm talking years. I think people are dishonest when they lead others to believe they can make a lot of money, fast. This book is an outlier, but it's a good example of what's trending.
