We have one at work and the door handle on the driver door and the rear door needs to be replaced once a year. Incredible that these are made of plastic when its often used as a delivery van with the door being opened 50-100 times a day.
I totally agree. it's disappointing that these critical parts are of poor quality. we see it reflected in the number of times these videos are viewed. Thanks for watching and your comment!
Hi Louis Louis, good to hear that you fixed the problem. As I understand the solution for the Renault Master is allost the same as a Renault Traffic. Who would have known!? Great!
Appreciate the vid....was the broken bit from the inner part of door handle, or the outer bit....i need to get a new one and on ebay, they sell them as just the outer part (about aud$25) or the whole lot..inside bit and outside bit ..at least double the price, so just wondered if worth getting the whole piece or i just need new outer handle bit? Cheers..just rewatched vid..think u only replaced outer part..cheers
Hi @daltropical5236, I bought the FAST FT94556 Door handle. The link to the part is in the description. Here it is once more: bit.ly/2UOk3Yc Succes with the replacement and thanks for watching!
@@vanred_nl on step 2, instead of pushing in on the locking mechanism (seems to be this way for most people) mines actually a pull which either requires a different tool or to access the locking mechanism from a different angle. And then it's a push to lock it back in place. Really appreciate your videos btw have been a big help 👌
@@vanred_nl yes sir. That was really strange. I was pushing and fighting with that thing an hour and then decided to pull outwards. Then only I could get out locking mechanism
You have not managed to get the inner part in to the groove, shown as the place where the handle gets worn out shown at 4:30 in this video. Normally there is no need to remove the inside panel. Just use a piece of steel white to pull the inner part out and you can get the two parts to connect properly. The put back the stopper nobb behind the actual handle and turn the metal piece with a screwdriver through the hole at the back of the door
Thank you for taking the time to film, edit and upload such an informative video.
Made with pleasure!
@@vanred_nl I just followed it step by step and it was so simple. Thank you
Thx for your video
1. Hate that Renault made these door handles sooo weak
2. Hate they made so difficult access to that door handle from inside!
I totally agree!

Same issue as Artur... May be helpful to pop it in the description too? Can't believe I've been messing about with this for days because of that
Hi Danny, I'm not sure what issue you are referring to. What should I put in the description?

Was it necessary to redo any blind rivets with a pistol?
No blind rivets were removed or replaced :)
I don't know why but my door lock opener works opposite direction 😂 removes when I pull that metal peace, and fixes when I push that metal peace
Hmm?!?! 🤔 you mean step 2 and 7, Arturs?
@@vanred_nl yes sir. That was really strange. I was pushing and fighting with that thing an hour and then decided to pull outwards. Then only I could get out locking mechanism
Very same with me. Been battling it here and just tried the opposite way and out it came.
No need to remove the inner panel
OK, thanks for the update!
