Very good video! I feel bad for the people that get ripped off! I had it happen once with an elite trainer box where all the packs just had energy cards and nothing else.

Great video! Resealed packs/fake cards and packs are awful and happen way too often. Tho I will say, overpaying for “mystery products” isn’t a “scam” lol it’s just overpaying for junk

Video ideas: 1. a random number generator determines which set and how many packs of each you open 2. an 8 ball chooses your Pokémon card opening. For an interesting twist for both ideas, it would be cool to add in some earlier sets since they’re more expensive and more sought after as sealed 3. The rarity of your pulls determine how much you donate to charity
I am happy that videos are being made about people scamming others. I recently bought Pokémon packs from a 99 cents store and found out a month later they were fake. I wanted to go and confront them about it but I am not sure how much that would do. I say to all fellow collectors please be careful buying cards. It is urgent you be as careful as possible. I now only but from TCG Player and my lower cards shop that I am familiar with. Thank you Pokerev for shedding lights on this.

The same has happened with Harry Potter TCG cards too. So many people have been duped by fake ones, especially the Chamber of Secrets set because a box can go for $1500-$3000.

Fun fact! You can tell if a card is fake by putting a flashlight from your phone under the card and if you can see the light threw the card its fake! If you can’t it’s most likely real!
Crazy to see all these scams. With so many scammers out there, how is it possible to avoid them all? I've only just gotten into collecting. I need to learn what to be on the lookout for.

Pain, when I got back into collecting a little bit ago I took a look through some cards I had from when I was much younger, 2 were fakes. A Manaphy holo rare and Cresselia holo rare from Majestic Dawn. Luckily not super expensive cards but crappy nonetheless.

It really stinks that this happens!!! As a collector it hurts me and makes me sad when I see this stuff. When people scam it ruins it for everyone!
Sadly scams have been around since I started collecting gen 1 when it first came out. So sad what people will do for a quick buck.

That one where the guy swapped out the moonbreon on live opening was a ridiculous scam too
I got scammed by a "sealed" box of Neo Genesis. The picture had plastic, but when I got it it was literally just saran wrap, and it was full of modern cards in resealed packs.
I bought a few fake packs to give to my nieces and nephews so they would know what to look for! Thanks for educating your followers Mr PokéRev!
