    To those of you who don't know, cosplay is a term used to describe people who dress like asian characters found in anime and asian games only. Anything else should be classified as costume, like in this instance. Please correct the term usage, which in this case should be costume, not cosplay.

      technically, cosplay could be considered "costume" as it consists of outfits and looks of a particular character. even though it started with asian characters such as anime characters that does not mean it can only stay in asian characters. thats like saying a boy can't wear nail polish because he isn't a girl. i know i will not change your mind but i just wanted to get this out.

      You don't have to dlonly cosplay anime characters for it to cosplay. Any costume roleplay is cosplay hence the name.
