As time has passed since his retirement, Ive realized Ive been more of a Jeff Gordon fan than NASCAR fan. Just not the same without him on track.
same here my dude i started watching nascar in 2015 the first race i saw from start to finish was the fall martinsvill that race was what made me like him. with watching races from the 90's on youtube its just amazing

Same here!! as a kid, Jeff Gordon was my celebrity role model, he was my superhero, I thought he was better than anybody else in this world as a kid. In fact, I looked at him like he was God. As a kid growing up, I used to go to NASCAR races at Michigan International Speedway, I started going to the Busch series races at age 4, he used to race against Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and after the Busch series race was over final Cup series practice and I got a chance to see Jeff Gordon drive his Rainbow Warrior #24 car around the track, but in 2003 I start going to Cup series races on Sundays and that was the best time of my life and I was fortunate enough in 2014 to see Jeff Gordon win on August 17th,2014 win his #91 career win the Pure Michigan 400, Michigan is my home track and it was truly an honor to see my favorite driver win at my home track, so I’m very proud of everything he’s done and he’s a great driver and I’m truly biased that the Hall of Fame got to enshrine him in the class of 2019.
You know, i didnt like Jeff too much back in the day but he has grown on me more than anyone else over the years.
Man him and Jimmie battling at Atlanta is forever a memory for me 😌

I got to say Jeff Gordon. What made him a Hall of Fame driver
What I remember Jeff Gordon going into the Hall of Fame was the six races that he won in 2007. He also did a Pepsi test drive commercial where he was playing a car salesman and a taxi cab driver. And now working with Mike joy and Darrell Waltrip plus Larry McReynolds. I got to say what else can Jeff Gordon do besides broadcast a NASCAR race can he host a reality show on Fox can he host a game show on Fox
Despite the fact I never even saw the Rainbow Scheme race up until 2015, I love it.

He's great person, great ambassador for NASCAR, but besides his success on the track and the weight that he caried ln his shoulders after 2001... Ok. Maybe it is enough, for us, Jr Nation, but it's often not enough for the people that don't know his story
