Our Story:
We are four years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney
Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled
with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our
pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden
organically, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our

Great comparisons! With my property being logged several years back and all of my hills, I think I could get a lot of good use out of the Ventrac! Looks like a great machine!

I own a couple of Kubota tractors for my properties, and i love mine. That's the only brand of tractor i use. One of my properties is 250 acres, which is my farm. My other, which is my hunting and fishing camp, is a little over 300 acres. I might try one of them ventracs. What's the hp and speed of the ventrac
I'm not sure of the HP but it doesn't bog down...it's a mowing machine. We tested it in this video: czcams.com/video/eTNE4Jz2Acg/video.html

hes even got the baby P model and doesnt have the nice SDLA controls. bare bones model as it gets and still perfroms!

It's an expensive tractor with very low ground psi. The Ventrac will not break irrigation lines or leave deep tracks
in your yard, the Kubota isn't really designed for yard work at all. Kubota tractors are excellent and the only one of these two I have experience with. Want a Ventrac but do not want to be Ventrac poor.
