The Reality of Abortion Before Roe V. Wade

We spoke with two women who had abortions in the early 1970s, before Roe v. Wade - which established the constitutional right to an abortion - went into effect.
The landmark decision has been the law of the land for decades, but that could all change with SCOTUS’ official decision on whether to overturn it. Data shows that denying women access to legal abortion doesn’t prevent abortions - but it does increase the likelihood that a pregnancy will end in an unsafe way. Stories like Teresa’s and Deborah’s remind us what that time was like for many women and the impact the ruling could have on women’s lives today.

Okay? I won’t. What i will do is safely and quietly make the decision to not bring another child into this world that will not have a good life. Abortion isn’t murder. Its healthcare.

@@ZeeBug15 What Hitler did to the Jews was not a massacre it was purifying the earth. HOW DUMB CAN YOU BE TO THINK LIKE THAT? JUST BECAUSE YOU GIVE IT A FANCY NAME, THE BASIC PREMISE OF ABORTION WHICH IS OF "ENDING A HUMAN LIFE" DOESN'T CHANGE.

When spilled or propelled onto a smooth surface, a low viscosity liquid such as water, milk, diluted soap or lightweight paints will cover approximately one square meter per liter of fluid, or 40 sq ft per gallon.
For this kind of dispersal to happen on an uneven surface such as grass, carpet, dirt, or a graded floor with drains would require more severe conditions than just a spill. A container that fell from a great height, was traveling at a very high speed, or was ripped apart by high internal pressure would almost guarantee that the fluid spread across a wide area.
Keep this in mind when selecting container volume, container material, and means of transport.
