BASE GAME BUILD IDEAS | No CC or Mods | The Sims 4 Building Tutorial

Hi everyone, in this base game build-along tutorial I will be showing you some basic Sims 4 building tips and tricks that I use. Hopefully, it will give you some ideas for your game. No packs, CC or mods required! See how I build :)

What cheats do you use?
Press Ctrl + Shift + C to enter these four cheats (enter them separately):
bb.moveobjects
bb.showliveeditobjects
bb.showhiddenobjects bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement
What does bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement do?
It unlocks career achievements items. In this video, I use the fridge and coffee machine that is usually locked.
Why do you delete the walls?
So the canvases do not snap and attach to the wall, same with the shelves.
How do you move items so they don't snap to the grids?
I hold the alt key on PC whilst I'm moving the items with my mouse.
What camera do you use and how do you use it?

How do you rotate items on PC?

How do you delete apartment walls for those with city living?
You cannot delete the outer walls for the apartments except for the some of the penthouse lots (mainly the ones that sit on their own on top of a building).

I tried to do this but it wouldn't give me that canvas but I honestly was so tired to where they did and I just don't see it but if it isn't there do u know a way to find them

LOL it's a really annoying glitch in my game at the moment. They always try to chop their veggies on the sink even though there's plenty of other counters!! 😂

if you use cc there is pack that is all ikea inspired furniture and you can download it’s free! i really recommenced it. Its by illogical sims

They need to fix the color swatches. At least for the base game objects. All the basic furniture, appliances and counters NEED some neutral tones and shades that actually MATCH. I get that in real life people mix-and-match furniture, but the game furniture clashes so bad it looks hideous. It's not asking too much for a set of cohesive furniture. They don't need to retexture and recolor everything because that's tedious...Just please, please give us neutral tones for the love of god lo l

That's why I refuse to buy any of the Sims packs.
One day the basic pack was for free on origin. So I downloaded it. 😂

It costs $399.90 for the base game and expansion packs at full price. Not including all the stuff packs, which cost $10 a pop. EA really need to fix all the bugs and revamp the base game, because they have been raking in cash for something they released broken and unfinished. Then resell game features in expansion packs to flesh out the base game...I would rather support CC creators on Patreon than give EA any more money tbh.

Because of this ridiculous pricing, I have to play the game pirated. The entire game costs 2949,28TL and I believe it's even higher because of the taxes and stuff. I know what I'm doing is wrong but it's not my fault I'm incapable of purchasing the game. Maybe one day, when I have enough money and luxury, I'll buy the game and the packs. The Sims 4 without packs feels like a zoo only filled with goldfishes. :(
