Wonderful! I remember packing food for five-day hikes on remote trails. Example: dried fruit, nuts, biltong, droe-wors, "Toppers" (soya-based fake minced meat), rice, vacuum packed Kassler-rib, parmesan, spices, brandy...

It’s so wonderful to hear more from Gwynn‘s side! This made me think about food security again as well and I’m looking into freeze dryer machines now too :)
