- Here it is! The 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3 Test Drive. We're back in Long Beach, California for the motorcycle show. I caught up with Brian Manning from Can-Am who showed me the bells and whistles on this sporty new ride. This year I actually got on the road and out of the parking lot! You can see that it took me a few minutes to bond with the bike, but once I got the feel of it, I had a blast!
Not being a motorcycle rider, I had some trepidation about how my driving skills would translate to the Spyder. I proceeded cautiously onto the streets of Long Beach. Once I was comfortable with the shifting, I was able to relax and have fun. I really appreciated the feeling of stability that the bike gave me and there was clearly power to spare! Just purchased a 2015 F3 a week ago. Absolutely love this bike . I get so many compliments on it . It's fun and I feel safe riding it. Lean your body forward and into the curves and you will be able to take them like a champ .

I watched this video years ago when I was thinking of buying one. I bought a new F3-S in September 2019. It is brilliant.
Note to @MichaelVeritas We agree, safety is important. For the record we didn't take the bike on the freeway, although we did ride where they hold the annual Long Beach Grand Prix!
It looks like a lot of fun to ride. I cant wait for my local dealer to have a ride day.

What would I be missing on the base F3 if I get in apposition to the F-3S. I love the power coated frame on the F-3S. Does it have a sporty option that the regular F-3? Does it still have the sport option that the S model has?

How did the Spyder F3 feel in your shoulders? I currently ride a sport bike, and it hurts my arthritic shoulders. I am wondering if the F3 would take the pressure off my wrist, arms, and shoulders.
I want one sooo bad.

Nathan Dean Hmm. I think I see what you mean. I can tell you the newer model was more fun to drive, but that may be because I never got on the road with the 2014.

Which one you liked more riding? The RT or F3?
I enjoyed the F3 more because I actually got to drive it on the road. I never got out of the parking lot on the other bike (one of their drivers got to wear my GoPro out on the road lol).

Good they erased from history the hideous snowmobile look , BUT, it still doesn't lean into corners which sucks .
