I'm so conflicted about Luffy. He has some of the best moves and special skills ever, it's fluid and satisfying to combo. Yet, at the same time, his transformations which are supposed to be a power up feel clunky and awful to play. Gear 2nd forces you to use gear 3 moves. All of them have insanely poor range and absurd wind up time while doing barely note worthy damage. All his gear 3 skills make Luffy tiny for about 5 seconds. While tiny you can't dash, run, and attack. It completely halts game-play and gives an absurd downside for attacks that are worse then normal attacks without downsides. Bounce Man makes every attack launches you forward. It's impossible to juggle anything because every attack makes Luffy fly past them. There is nothing to counteract this, attacking makes you lunge no matter what. No to mention they way Luffy floats with his lacking hit box range on standard attacks makes him miss way too often. Snake man has has the same issue but even worse. His attack lunge him forward automatically but he's also a speed type making him quicker, which means lunging to place's you don't want to often. Most of his snake man special moves take forever and do mediocre damage. His heavy combo literally has more range and damage then all of his specials. However his normal game-play with standard special moves are so strong. He can play ground combat, air combat, has aoe, single target, crowd control he basically does everything. I just wished his transformation got rid of the god awful automatic lunge. It is so clunky to play and in most cases hurt his damage output because you have constantly reposition yourself instead of dealing damage. It's very similar to Law's room being removed on dash canceling. It's just a clunky mechanic that just take control away from the player, it'd be so much better if they removed it.
There are no difficulities on treasure log bummer i know but there are level for stages this stage level is 10 i think which is kinda like hard mode 13+ are considered ultra hard mode
