Till this day, I still don't get why Song did that. There weren't any incidents or altercations between the two teams or between Song and Mandzukic, so what triggered Song to do such a horrible thing? There was still another half to play and to do that cost his team. Professional footballer but with no procession etiquette.

It was out of frustration most likely. With Cameroon already 1-0 down, Song had his eye on the ball (pun not intended), didn't notice Mandzukic when making his run, and this was a 'get out of my way' kind of response. Still inexcusable though, and it sort of symbolised why Cameroon were eventually classified dead last in the tournament.

I am convinced too now that this match was fixed. The trainers expression looked acted the first time I saw this but I didn't know why. It weirded me out but I didn't think much of it.
Now it makes a lot of sense.
There was a lot of trouble in that Cameroon squad. They were close to not going to the WC because of an argument with their federation since they didn’t pay the players. Everything around them were bad vibes, even two of their players (Assou-Ekotto and Moukandjo) almost had a fight during a match. More than fixed, it looks more like Cameroon screwing themselves in purpose.

This match was fixed. Just letting you guys know, there was financial issues within Cameroon Football Association. Players were complaining about the pay. But all of a sudden, they supposedly "sucked it up" and decided to play. There's a huge conspiracy and speculation that someone paid them from behind for him to do it. Unlike majority of Cameroon players, Alex Song can afford to do it bcz he's a French citizen who resided in Spain and played for Barcelona at the time. He doesn't have to go back to Cameroon. On the other hand, if other players did it, then unless it's Etoo, they are fucked and cannot live in Cameroon anymore.

They decided to lose in a favorable way that'll make them money. 4-0. There was no reason for Alex Song to randomly elbow Mario Mandzukic for NO REASON when he didn't even possess the ball that time. It was match-fixing on Cameroon side. Croatia had nothing to do with it.
Wilson Raj Perumal made a bet that Croatia will beat Cameroon 4-0 and one player from Cameroon will be sent off. By making that "prediction", he won millions of dollars off this match. It's why there's allegation on it. Alex Song getting red carded by elbowing Mario Mandzukic, who wasn't even near the ball or possess the ball at the time is quite suspicious, don't you think?
