    The original Bow-Loc landing net came out in 1989 and it raised the bar then, both in terms of function and quality. It was so good that it's become cult now, and an original Bow-Loc landing net is highly prized among collectors and serious anglers alike. Although it’s not exactly the same system, the new version is every bit as effective as the original. The principle is certainly the same: a net that collapses in an instant when triggered and is easy to reassemble just as quickly. Here, CARPology's Joe Wooltorton runs through all the details on this new landing net, along with a second model the Kent-based company have just released...

    Bought the bowloc a few months back and it’s great, landed carp at over 30lbs no problem, the mechanism is no problem as long as you release the pressure, I find it quick and convenient, I also managed to fit my Chubb retainer into the stink bag, winner winner.

    What a load of old bow locs XD Looks like a quality piece of kit but I'm not sure I'd spend that much on a net. How sturdy did the handle feel with that fish?

    They look nice .only thing I have to say is about the stick bag .it's a very idea as guys will transfer decease from one lake to the next! And a lot of fish kills could happen! Just saying

    • @stuartgreen7203
      @stuartgreen7203 Před rokem

      As much as your right. All my carping friends all take the nets/stink bag home and clean then allow both to dry in the sun, preferably. This is something that everyone should be doing, especially if you fish multiple lakes.

    Great bit of kit well made,do you need to spend this sort of money nope .It spends most of its time lying on the floor.

    With the stink bag they didn’t think it through, when you put your wet net in the bag you have to dry out the bag or it will go mouldy

    • @stuartgreen7203
      @stuartgreen7203 Před rokem

      It’s a standard style stink bag. It’s designed so that you don’t drip water in the car. Then when you get home you clean the net and bag then let them dry.

    • @theblobfish9614
      @theblobfish9614 Před rokem

      Yeah but you cannot do that with any stinkbag as they have to be airtight for them to work
