Capitalizing on any income starting today.
How living in a small city in China helped me save more and spend less.
Negotiating for paid Housing and a Post Tax Salary with your employer as an expatriate.
Monthly Budgeting and planning.
Cost of Living in China.
Please watch part two which covers more information.
You are the most smartest SA teacher working in China i know. You're financially wise! We share that in common. I love saving as well. I'm not reckless spender!
I don’t think you realize how much you’ve really inspired me. I’ve been struggling with saving and making the right decisions financially since moving to China last year, somehow I feel like I’ve found someone who understands me and who is living in China as a black person. I hope to see more of your vlogs. This kind of positive advice is needed
I’m glad you feel motivated😇 you can make better decisions for your finances starting today, cook yourself a good meal for the rest of the week and not spend on anything you don’t need, reward your hard work with saving/ investing trust me you’ll get so addicted to it. Yo can do it🙌🏾 I can’t wait to hear about your financial milestones and changed actions in the next three months ☀️
I love how you take your finances seriously. When I got to China I also got addicted to online shopping then I started managing my finances but it never crossed my mind to invest. I'll definitely start investing some money left from my monthly allowances. I want to be like you and own a property
Being able to admit to yourself first what your spending habits are is a big step towards changing, I was also addicted to online shopping but while in SA, by the time I got to China I had already made most of the financial mistakes one can make so I just kept myself in check, saving and investing first before spending, leaving as little as possible for shopping. You can do it babe, have a financial dairy where you keep track of your goals per month, more financial advice coming soon❤️

Accountability for your own finances. That's one thing I'm picking up from this video & something a lot of us young people don't have. We have this lifestyle inflation problem when we get higher salaries & end up with all those unnecessary accounts.
Thank you for this video and well done👌❤
My Super Fan❤️ Thanks for watching and taking something away from the video 😇 like how do we buy cars and eat at nice places every weekend and not even have money that enough to sustain us at least for 6 months if ish hit the fan 🤷🏾♀️We can do better, all of us ❤️

Yay thats my girl , Welcome to the homeowners world girl , once you start no looking back. Congrats dear. Its good that in SA you can get loans , in my country we buy cash , that needs a lot of discipline.
Definitely a lot of discipline! I wanted to buy cash as well but I couldn’t pass up that property because I was short of less than 60% of its value. Thank you Rodah ☀️

It’s hard 😅😅
Yup!! 💪🏼💪🏼 yaaaasss Queen!! Look, I’m still at that very first step (entry job level in South Africa) and bruu, the way I’m so proud of myself that I have an investment account with funds (not enough to buy a house though) that’s have earned from my current job. I have been offered another job in China as well #Yaaaaaaaasssss 😂 but Covid 19 happened. I still have my job this side though. Thanks for the insight it’ll surely add onto what I have 😗😗🥳
I’m so proud of you😇 Keep at it you’re doing very well🙌🏾✨ When you get to China don’t let more money deceive you😅 just maintain a low profile and save like your generational wealth depends on it and before you know it you have enough for a 50% down payment or 100%. I’m excited for you. Thanks for watching☀️
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I aim to 😉
Thank you so much for this! I have a bond that I’m paying for currently but I wanna put it down by 50% 😂 this helps me because GIRL!! Online shopping! 😂🤣 and I wanna get a second bond. Your saving advise really helps ♥️ Thank you!
You can do it honey, we just need to call ourselves out when we derail and not leave too much surplus money for spending, pay yourself first not ‘them’🙌🏾✨

This is awesome. Inspirational. I'm currently in South Korea and considering the move to China. What is a good after tax salary too live in a 3rd or 4th tier city.
I was considering Korea as my first option when I was still in SA trying to decide then I went with China mainly for the financial aspect. Thanks for watching 😊
@@chatwithtisa meaning you get paid more in China than S.Korea?
Possibly, I’ve heard that China pays more.
Hey Tisa,
How can you protect your properties from property hijackers? It's becoming a trend in South Africa. I want to buy while I am in South Korea but it might be risky.
I love this! I'm moving to China next year. Which city are you in?
You’ll love it Come☀️ I’m in Weihai Shandong Province.
HI Tisa,Which small cities would you recommend one to live in when coming to China?
How did you manage to twist your schools arm to make a post tax salary offer?
And what was the name of the school that time ,if yiu don't mind disclosing.
Lastly, what schools gave you heard of in the small cities you would recommend offer the benefits you've mentioned?
Thank you Tisa😊
Hey Rivaldo😊
China is so massive, even the big cities have small sections wishing them that have cheaper housing and overall cost of living.
It’s common in China to request a post tax salary, but it’s important to insure that they are paying the taxed amount, some schools don’t and that’s where the “danger is”.
About the name of the school, why do you ask?
Most schools offer foreign teachers great benefits, you just have to be negotiate and know what’s being offered out there because they will try to give you the bare minimum.
New subscriber here sis ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the support, welcome to Tisa☀️😇
Wang Zama friend!!!!! We can do this💪🏾💪🏾
Congratulations Tisa👏🏾💛Im inspired!
swelihle sphume friend is that you
swelihle sphume yeah 😍😍😍😍
Where you required to submit additional documents such as a work permit and so forth and if so what are they?
Yes I was, they asked for a copy of my resident permit, proof of address in China, work contract…
"yes.. I like zara" 🤣❤️🔥
🤣🤣Too much! But I avoid it🙈
Yaaaaaas
Did you do Accounting at school? And which learning area to you teach over there in China?
No I didn’t, I studied Psychology. In China I teach English.
Gosh you smart 😍
Flattered 😅😇 Thank you ☺️
I wanna go to China as well then.
You should come over 😊
This is great how did u manage to do it within a year cs when i count my salary offer ill be able to do it after 2 years of saving with my salary offer.did u have savings before?
I had previous saving and I got less than 60% of what I needed from the bank in the form of a home loan. Did you watch part 2?

Hey 😊 I hope you managed, I didn’t quite get the question.
Which city did you work in?? I’m trying to choose between working in a big city or small city.
I work in a city called Weihai in Shandong Province, which cities are you trying to choose between?
Chat With Tisa Shanghai and a 3rd tier city called Cangzhou in Hebei province. I can hardly find any info on the small city.
I will inbox you on insta too if that’s cool. 🤗

You’re so kind 🌻 Thank you for the beautiful words of motivation. I believe you can also do this, made better choices every month with your salary and invest your money when it can grow 🌱 I believe in you 😇

I didn’t
I love you 😍
Welcome to the sisterhood ❤️ I love you too🌻
I see you're also really obsessed with clothes shopping haha
Well that’s under control now 😂😅
How much salary. Is it more than $1200
I won’t disclose how much I earn but seeing that it was my first year in China and the city was 3rd/ 4th tier I got paid an average salary that I made the most of even though there were people getting more than me with less or similar experience etc.
Not really how much you earn but what's the average for people without experience in rural schools.
You’ll definitely get $1500 to $2000
My goodness 💃💃. I'm coming. Ngyabonga nge information 🙌
I go to a school that's named tisa
Really 🤭😄 what’s this school about 😊
it's about art
Wow! 😄✨
😄
I'm too scared to buy anything online because I know I will get addicted...
Just stay away to be honest that the best way to resolve it🙃 when I stay indoors and go no where near the mall I save money, when I don’t click on the online shopping apps I save money, even typing this has elicited every to open the ZARA app but even if I do after typing this I can’t buy anything because I am literally broke till pay day and I’m broke because I sent 85% of my salary to my SA accounts invested and saved. We can do this hey 😭😅😇
Oh I thought this was a video for buying property in SA but its more of a background story
Part 1 is the background story of how moving to China amplified my savings in order to have enough for all the other expenses I had incurred in the process. Part 3 will have the step to step process. Thanks for passing by though🙂
It’s not easy to find you on CZcams 🙁 your name “it’s” makes it difficult 🙁 but anyway I found you♥️
