- I can't wait to show you this creation - it's an easy technique and it's great for beginners and established artists too. We swipe it the color and it changes instantly, including an injection of color and cells when dry swiping.

▶ Technique: Swipe
▶ Canvas size: 20x20 inches
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a Pouring Medium for all techniques unless otherwise stated in the video. The ratio I use is 1:3:1 Paint/Medium/Water. I use Floetrol/Owatrol for my medium. For those creations that I use water only (again I will say so in the video so please watch the full video for more details) Water only creations use the ratio of 1:1 paint to water.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Pearlescent paint range (blue, violet, white, red, yellow, green)
Base is lamp black
▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.

Jyst in case you need more ideas for your pearlescent series: How about doing a piece where you first swipe one side and then blow out the other side? Or maybe create one piece using a comb?

Hello Mark c'est magnifique, malheureusement nous ne trouvons pas de foetrol australien chez nous 😢 il y avait un bon moment que je ne vous avais pas vu car je suis encore occupée à faire des tableaux du cosmos pour la musique de mon mari. J' arrive au bout des tableaux dont il avait besoin et je vais pouvoir me consacrer à toutes sortes de Pourring. Je dois avoir un certain nombre de vidéos à regarder que vous avez dû réaliser, je vais essayer de rattraper mon retard 😂😂✌️❤❤❤❤

I can’t explain why but I never liked pearl paint. I can’t figure to hang a piece created with them on my wall. But of course I do appreciate all the work and creativity behind the work, and I just love your work. For me this piece done with pearl paint is my favorite of you series. It’s simple, peaceful and so nice and well done. 😍 And made me think of trying this on a larger but narrower canvas. Tks for sharing.
PS: question pops in my mind… have you ever tried swiping with a mix of Aussie and yellow pearl paint on the other Colors? Would that show as gold swipe?
Thank you 🤩 The yellow won’t turn into a gold (if that makes sense) but if you swipe in yellow you will get a yellow and glow effect. I have swiped with Australian Floetrol over all the colors including yellow in previous pieces. I hope you have fun when you try this and I appreciate you watching and for all of your support

It’s to pop the air bubbles in the paint that have formed after mixing up the paint 👍🏻
