    I have a 98 and it has the two hoses you mentioned. It's dissimilar in other ways as well.

    I agree with you teddy. I looked under the hood of this thing and said, no way. Then I check with a mechanic about a price and said, yes way. Thank you very much for sharing this video...for sure!

    We have to keep our old vehicles running good. You know the price of a new Chevy truck right? Crazy. You truck looks like it's in great condition.

      It is in great shape mechanically for a truck that's just under 300k miles. When something breaks, I like to get it fixed right away. Interior is in great shape too. The outside has its scratches but no dents, it is my around home work truck so I don't like the paint to nice.

      Thanks, I do the same thing and watch other people's video to get an idea of what a task will take when it is something I have not done before.

    Hey I just switched to the same belt system, do you have a long or short water pump and what rotation???

    • @mikesworld60
      @mikesworld60  Před rokem +1

      My pump rotates counterclockwise viewed from the front of engine. Not sure about your long or short pump question. Compare the part number of the pump I show in the beginning of my video to yours and see if it is the same as your pumps part number. Thanks for watching.

    Don't take your tensioner off lol, you have plenty of room once the radiator top shroud is off and the fan.

    Reminder, 96 and up vortec mirrors had a separate nut that holds on the fan clutch. Terrible design change and responsible for many skinned knuckles and curse words.
