Poe was so intimate with the human intellect. His choice of words feels almost supernatural in the way they make such an abstract subject to solid and tangible in the mind.

Delicious...Poe is sublimely genius, and read by Vincent Price makes me dizzy with delight. Listen to him reading The Raven..it's addictive.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of the greatest and most brilliant writers in history. Quick a verbiage he uses, something that will be great to incorporate in your vocabulary. Another very good story/poem to read: The Raven, the Masque of the Red Death, the Tell Tale Heart, the Black Cat, the Cask of Amontillado, etc. The narrative gave it passion and made it interesting. Congratulations if you're still listening to this even after school.

This was a good short story, notice how his work got themes of guilty conscience and confessions .

    Fine, thank you!
I am not a native speaker, but Vincent Price's pronunciation is so clearly and dramatic, so fascinating and gripping.
