this all started when they got bored during covid lock down and started making tik tok shorts of hypa hypa in different styles. the fans loved it and begged for full songs of the new versions, so they reasched out to other artists to collaborate with. mc thunder 1 and 2 are great videos as well, they kinda remind me of some of the beastie boys songs with a bit more rock added into the mix.
There're 3 more covers and more to follow. The Sasha version was the 2nd cover. First was Saltatio Mortis, 3rd 257ers and 4th We Butter the Bread with Butter (WBTBWB). Have fun!

I just looked up that song you mentioned and am a little bummed that it's in English. Eskimo Callboy sings in English, Sasha sings in English, we need another Falco who leaned in and just ripped the lyrics out in German. Nena and her 99 Luftballons. God, there are so few artists who sing in German, I think I named both of them, the two that made it over to the US, anyway. Oh wait, Rammstein. Still, I want more.
This is a project by bored German musicians during the lockdown when they couldn't tour and it is so inventive and Sasha is a big star in Germany though he started out doing Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers covers in the late 1980s before his career took of as a disco singer.

Prism, Crystal, and Hate/Love. I am still going through their catalog so I am sure they have others. Some of their other funny songs are MC Thunder I & II, and Muffin Purper-Gurk. Also there is a Dutch TV show with 2 movies now called "new Kids" the look could also be taken from that. Since it became very popular over here and i know it also branched to germany.
