I like it Jim. Wish I had something like this myself. Looks like it has decent hinges and not cheap junk materials . I Was going to start cutting pieces for a box the other day but I made carbon fiber scales instead. Can’t believe it actually worked

Yes I take everything off when I come home also. Rarely wear a watch at home or carry a knife.

Wondering m…. I have several knives that are over 5inches closed. How bad does it look when they hang out the end by over an inch? I really don’t want to spend 200$ and be pissed when non of my full sized knives fit
Nice piece of kit. I know it's already costly, but I'd even like to see a more premium version with solid wood that will last a lifetime if cared for. I'd cringe at the initial expense and then be immensely happy with it from then on.

@@nickkazarian3334 For sure. It's really just a modular jewelry box with some slotting for knives in particular. I'm sure most craftsmen who take commissions would make one out of whatever materials you wanted as well.

Oh sorry, that’s not a Kiridashi actually. That’s a custom Littlefinger in Damascus that I made for a customer before my health forced me to retire, so I can’t make knives anymore.
The new hellfire prototype makes my giblets all tingly.
I simply wish I made enough money to be this into the hobby.
Hey Jim, how is your Kaviso EDC Valet holding up? My hinge screws popped out and since I'm 4 months over the 1-year warranty they wont send a replacement. Disappointed in this company.
Oh man, that sucks!! I’m sorry to hear that. I can definitely see how that happened though, the hinges aren’t supported by solid strong wood, so you definitely have to handle it with kid gloves. I kinda saw that right away, so I’ve been cautious and gentle with mine so it has held up well. I use it daily.
I would be disappointed in your situation too. I’m sorry that happened.

This was sold as almost the exact same configuration by Drop a while ago, and I picked it up from there. The lower drawer was a little more simple in that version unless you chose different options, but I have enjoyed it for a couple years or so very much. Only thing I ever had trouble with was 3 spots for watches ended up not being enough, so the bottom drawer has a lot of the spares 😂

The format is nice, but wouldn't use it for all your videos. It's also nice to see people while they're actually talking too. I'd recommend mixing it up from time to time.
