- The day I first saved kitten (about two months after birth)
I can not sleep for two nights with the meow of a kitten coming out of the window.
I did not even know how to touch the cat.
But in the middle of the night I started looking for the whereabouts of the kitten.
Under the floor of the rental warehouse, I found a kitten.
I rushed to a convenience store and bought a cat food.
Then, it took 6 hours to protect the kitten.
And I visited the animal hospital for the first time in my life
I think that putting kittens in a cardboard box would be timeless
I went to a pet shop.
So I was surprised to see the price of the cage.
I check with a smartphone on the spot and head to a 100 yen shop.
I bought a wire mesh and binding band, the tray and cat litter toilet instead of plastic, went home.
While making the cage, I clearly remember that I just wanted to sleep early.
I am very nostalgic now.

我が家にも、チコちゃんに似たニャンコ(♀)が居るのですが、約７年程前に生後1～2ヶ月ぐらいの状態の時に、我が家の庭に迷い込んできて、家族になりました。
今は、家の中で一番態度がデカくなりましたが、元気に育っています。
この動画を観てると、当時の事を色々と思い出します。
チコちゃん、飼い主さんに大事に飼ってもらって、本当に幸せだと思います。
You are so talented at making things for your little kitty. 👏
Loads of you are being too harsh. The rescuer literally just saved this kitten’s life and had no prior experience to handling kittens. What he did was right. When bringing a kitten home into a new environment, you are supposed to keep it confined in a smaller safe space for a couple of days to a week, depending on how well the kitten responds. Putting in a cage is not wrong because you are letting the kitten acclimatize to the new environment. Letting it loose in the room is not good for the kitten as the kitten is scared shitless and will have found the smallest nook to hide in, it is clear from the 1st rescue video that the kitten would have hidden into a deep and small space in the house. Yes it is meowing because it is SCARED. But that is normal. Forcing interaction with the kitten might have gone bad too. Trying to play or interact with it just after rescuing may not be such a good idea. Better to let the kitten gets its bearings and feel that the rescuer isn’t a threat to it. Anyway, if you guys continued watching the other videos, he didn’t keep the kitten in the cage FOREVER. It was a temporary thing. SO CHILL before passing judgment.

We can see how she was calming down as you worked on the Kitten Protection System. Yawning and stretching and poking instead of just frantically meowing. She knew she had found her pet human. Nobody else would work so hard for her!

My goodness, could all the new people calm down? This was the first time he'd ever had a cat, he'd only just rescued it, and was doing his best. Chiko is now a year old, her new human-daddy very quickly learned how to care for her, and she's a happy, well adjusted kitty who is just a little spoiled. Watch some of his later videos, you'll see how much he loves her and how happy she is.

Yes, he is an awesome dad! He had explained to me all his videos are mixed up (not played in order) somehow CZcams didn't show them in order.
With that being said, this was my first video I watched and I thought he wasn't giving Chiko the attention so I had made that comment.
I since watched his other videos and now I can't say enough how great he is to Chiko; he really is an awesome cat daddy!
Go to the playlist and start to watch his videos from beginning to now. It will make you laugh because he is a new cat daddy and he is learning how to take care of this cat after he found her. Now, he is the best cat daddy to Chiko and he love her so much! 😻
