  • Typically a brake job will cost anywhere from $150 to $300 dollars. My Toyota Sienna was making the tell tale loud squeak whenever I applied the brakes. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars I thought I'd make a video showing everyone how you can fix this problem for fifty bucks! Do a brake pad replacement on a 2014 Toyota Sienna is super easy. I'm not a mechanic, I work in tech, and I'm able to do this. You can get it down with just a 9/16 socket wrench. It's a lot easier if you have the list of equipment below, but none of this is absolutely necessary, so don't get discouraged if all you have is where you park your Toyota and the socket wrench set your Dad gave you when you moved out. You can still get this done. In this step by step tutorial I show you how you can diagnose the problem, remove your old brake pads, and install the new ones. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below.

Couple things. 1, There are absolutely 0 bolts/nuts/etc on that car that are standard. Everything is metric, use metric sockets. 2, NEVER push directely on a caliper piston with anything. Use an old pad to compress the pistons with your desired tool.
