A Walk in the May Dew - Folklore from Co. Tipperary

A Walk in the May Dew is a collection of superstitious beliefs which were recorded by Michael Fortune in Áras Mhuire Day Care Centre, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary in April 2007. The work was produced as part of the 2007 Bealtaine Festival and was officially launched in Nenagh Library on Thursday the 3rd of May 2007.
Following the launch in Nenagh the film was screened throughout Co. Tipperary during the month of May. The collection was presented in the counties libraries in 2009 as part of the Bealtaine festival.
Featured in this collection are Eileen Starr, Bridie King, Mary Kennedy, Bridie Darcy, Jimmy Murphy, Norah Murphy, Lil Doughan, Sarah Brennan, Bridget Hickey, Kathleen Starr, Nancy Kelly, Betty Comerford, Peg Gleeson, Maureen Harrington and Margaret McLoughlin.
