Stretching My Shoes!! Stretch Genie Shoe Stretcher Review!! Widening Your Shoes!!

I'm stretching my shoes in this stretch genie review! We are going to a wedding this weekend, my dress shoes are not wide enough to wear comfortably for the day, and I have the perfect solution! If you have wide feet and you are looking for a solution to widening your shoes, this is for you!

I got those really pretty white open shoes with a block heel that is not too tall so prefect for me who is not good at walking in heels. The only problem, the strap that goes over my toes is super tight although I have pretty thin toes. I’m told that that’s for support, but it’s really uncomfortable.

@Raptor Jesus It's such a bummer when cute shoes have a spot that isn't comfortable. I'm not sure if the strap you would benefit from stretching would work with these expanders or not...but maybe? I have heard of folks using rice inside of sealed bags to stretch shoes as well. Although I haven't tried that method myself. 🤔

I’m hoping this going to work for my dr marten sandals. Stuffed in the cupboard (never worn) pasty feet problems x

@hannah west I think they would work. 🤔 I had a pair of dr marten sandals back in the day...really solid construction...and I literally wore them until the soles separated from the top. I would definitely give these wideners a try. And now I am going to see if they still make the style I had back in the day...😅 Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this great tip! I’m often looking for chic quality shoes that have a wide fit. I find that leather is the best as it tends to stretch more than other materials. @Mayra Esquivel Yes, I have had a lot of success with leather shoes. So many brands don't offer wide sizing options, and these stretchers have worked wonders. 😀 The brand of these shoes is Bussola. Aren't they fun? 💃

9 1/2 wide
Women's but I bought a pair of mk
Iogo wedge zip sandles can I widen the 9 1/2 meduim

+pinkberrybish pinkberrybish Hi. I wear a size 6.5 wide...and sometimes even wide shoes are snug. These shoe stretchers have worked for me on many different types of shoes. I imagine they could work well for you, too. 🙂

Will it work with suede strap heels? Or will it damage the material ?

@Brissa Maldonado That's a good point... I haven't tried it on suede shoes. The spray is effective even when you localize the spray to just the insole portion of the shoe. If your strappy heal has another material lining it, this should work without damaging your shoe. I'm interested to see if other folks have tried it... 🤔
