- The White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations has been serving President Obama since he was a senator. In her first interview in eight years, Alyssa Mastromonaco sat down with the "CBS This Morning" co-host Charlie Rose to discuss her low-profile, high-power role.

They flooded the country with money which drove down interest rates to the point where the discount rate was actually in the negatives a couple of times. People could not put their money in Bonds, CD's or any other interest bearing investment - they were zero. The only place in which people could put money was the stock market which reacts just like any capitalistic entity - supply and demand. People raced to put money in the market - stocks went up. The demand was great which put pressure on the supply. Prices went up. The scumbag had little to do with it other than encouraging the printing of money by the fed. Now stocks are going up because companies are actually profitable. I know that's a bad word for you idiots but it works!
