This tool is amazing. I was having no luck with standard levers, so caved in and got this. Effortless…..well not quite, but that’s how it felt after all the failures. Should have got this when I purchased the inserts 👍
Best lever ever made i broke so many of the cheaper ones and swore at them
I so regret purchasing metal ones because I never use them just because how easy they will scratch things up. The tool you got there looks way more reasonable than most others I've seen so I'm gonna pick one up for sure.
1:05 try to do this with tire sealant in when the bead is glued to the rim
nice tool, looks like it would be better for your hands than the current tyre levers. When you take off your tyre when it has been on awhile the sealant seem to be melded to the tyre and the only way that works for me is to get a blunt cold chisel and hammer the bead down right around, being careful to angle it as not to damage the rim. ps: I really like having CushCores, best ever.
So, I got here because I was trying to learn what a bead dropper is after the ad selling outdoor stuff was also sell a bu+t p!ug, I don't know what a "bead" is in bike-speak but people who see what I saw will also see something-core and adding beads to the confusion could be... I'm just pointing it out since you seem to be just launching this product.
Exploded my poor Park tool tire lever last week installing my set of Cushcore so I might try this! Btw do you guys sells o-ring for your valves? It seems the o-ring might develop a certain "fatigue" after a while and therefore the valve might leak a bit :/
Send us an email at info@cushcore.com and we will get you taken care of.
you didnt take the tire off the rim? How you will you get the tube out? All I saw was some nonsense.
Hi!!seamlessly compatible with rim enve M60?
Yes, this is compatible with that rim.
Love it. Send me one.
Is that $20 for 2? Or shall I use $1 worth of plastic on my 3D printer?
Dude looks like murr from impractical jokers
Yeah yeah.. So easy put down a bead...
I've got two wheelsets (Flow MK3 + Magic Mary, mavic EN827 + Minion DHF-DHRII), both with CushCore inserts. So, when I try to take of tyres (on both wheelsets) - it's jusr a huuuuge PiTA! I spend much time just to start moving bead to the center. So, please, show REAL often situations.
The reason why we made this tool is to help with removal just as much as installation. If you use something similar to a trash bin to support the wheel and this tool as it's shown to break the bead on both sides you will have no issue with removal. We have installed/removed hundreds of sets at events (including your exact spec) and never had an issue. We would highly recommend trying this tool for removal as it will make things much easier.
@@cushcore690 1. I wasn't talking about this your new particular tool. I was talking about situation, shown in the video, when you EASILY popped off the tyre bead to center from a first try just in microsecond. Once again, on all my four wheels with cushcore in a dozens of times I never had same luck, never!
2. As for your new tyre lever - actualy I like it. I like the idea of a handle with wide flat bead (or how it's called on english), so the hand can have additional support when pushing.
3. As for my procedures of assembling/disassembling wheels - I do it on super usefull and comfortable Park Tool WH-1, so there's no any problem for me.
@@cushcore690 I think the biggest issue is always doing this in an environment WITHOUT a trash bin, spray bottle full of soapy water, and 100 tire levers :). Agree that it is pretty straightforward once you have the technique down in a controlled environment with all the supplies, but the nightmare occurs when you are on the trail. If a sharkfin rock tears my sidewall, I basically have to resign myself to bloody fingers, dislocated knuckles, and snapped tire levers :(. That said, I will run Cush Core till the day I die :)
@@cushcore690 The problem is that your product is half-baked and you dont care. Installing and removing cushcore is ALWAYS horrible and has made me stop varying the tires I use because its not worth the amount of work fkg arounbd with your stupid product. If there was any other way of protecting my rims Id use that and burn the cushcore.
Hahahaha bs this thing BROKE in about 3 minutes. Its a $35 plastic tire lever, buy a $5 plastic tire lever, it will do the same thing. Also do not use the clips they give you with the kits, they are cheap plastic too and will break leaving jagged plastic lodged in your inserts...possibly just dont buy Cushcore....
