Cool review. The few reviews of this watch on CZcams aren't very good. I considered this model, but, I bought the WS-2100 instead. It had a bigger less cluttered screen that could be simplified even more by pressing the lap button. That leaves it with just the time and step counter. The rec lap data can also be deleted the same way as this model, but, all data is deleted in one step. The strap feels flimsy, but, that doesn't matter to me because I can just get a fabric Nato strap and mod that to fit very easily. Cheers!
Hi! I'm actually torn between these two models! I want the WS2100 for the reasons you listed, but was scared off by the unusual 25.36mm band width listing on Amazon. Would it be easy for someone inexperienced to mod the watch to another NATO strap?
How far into the future is the calendar accurate? 2039? 2099? Also, does it allow for leap year? If you mentioned this in the review, I missed it. Great review, thanks.
They're different watches altogether. The classic Casio Royale has world time, 5 alarms, a simple stopwatch and that's about it. The other watch has a stopwatch with a 60 entry lap memory and three alarms.
if you like this watch you will probably like the gshock gd-350 it has a some what similar style, but is better in every way, although it may be too big for someone with a smaller wrist and the price is around $80-100. It has a vibrate option for alarm/timer which works absolutely brilliant for loud environments or for where you want to be more discreet.
I purchased one yesterday and the watch strap pinched my wrist. I wish the raised portion of the underside of the strap was not there it digs into my wrist.
@@Thesisterchannel_ can't expect much but that is not what the ads on youtube tell you. they all tell you it is great. they fail to point out it is disposable and not worth it.
thank u i love this watch negative coming today hope the clarity is good for working indoors

2000-2099
THANKS!!
Nice watch
Sure is
Thankyou
I believe DST stands for Daylight Savings Time, not Dual Standard Time. Nicely detailed and informative review otherwise.
correct
Is there a way to change the date format to dd/mm?
No. Japan uses yyyy-MM-dd, which happens to be the ISO standard.

I love the watch but it is too big
It's good for a ten year old kid?

Cant say Ive found that, maybe just loosen it off a notch.
The stock strap is CHEAP.
Replace it.
Is the time easier to read than the w-217h?
Same
No. Nothing is.
The cheap strap destroys this watch.
I replaced mine.
Replaced with what ??
this watch can use jogging
Bye bye it's 420.
the band will last 6 months. not worth it
depends on how you use it
@@norvieYT if by how it is used you mean leaving it in a drawer. I guess that way it will last a long time. maybe.
It's a budget watch under 30 dollars. Can't expect much.
