Been for a ride goes well could use a bigger gear for more speed but fast enough 22mph. Easy the battery measured 51v still on charge now measured some rows about 3.6 to 3.7 volts most were only about 3.9 to 4v one was 4.2 so when do I need to use discharge leads and how ?
Going to take bike for a run ive put a discharge connector on Shawn does that connect to the load or not ?theres the charge connector an xlr plug .an 2 xt90s one discharge and other for the ebike controller
Hi Shawn .ive connected that bms up to a whole pack now how can I tell if bms working ?ive got a another bms but trying the one that smoked first .plugged the charger in an green light came up.measured 54v so fully charged I guess

The guy I bought the bms off said that would balance them but I don’t think they do that just keep them from getting too hi or low

The Indian vruzend guy said the load too for the p- blue wire discharge wire
Won’t just using the ebike discharge the cells I’m moving house soon so will keep check on them

HArd to say without a picture- but the P- connects to the load and the battery positive connects to the load.

You are probably right, it is fully charged. Run it, charge it, and check the balance of the cells.
My cells are about 0.2 v difference is that ok Shawn ?
For me, .2 volts is the threshold over which I balance them.
