Mominette by Maxou!

Mominette is a scottish by Maxou which has become something of a chestnut. I've recorded it before and it is one of my "go to" pieces. I play it here on a Castagnari Tommy D/G that I tried when I visited the Button Box in Sunderland, MA, some weeks ago. Maxou Heintzmen is a vielle a roue player with La Chavannee in the Bourbon region of France.

I'm not sure, but I think Mominette wrote it in the '70s.

@@Accordeonaire I'm learning it on the whistle as a reel. It is a snappy tune.
