The ceiling on Giddy is higher. I think it was a great trade for both teams.
Giddey encourages players to play the right way, to make cuts, to anticipate, to work off the ball for easier buckets.

i think for the value of Caruso and what has been rumored out there,multiple first round picks for him, i’m just surprised they couldn’t get a single first round pick from the damn team that has a million picks, i also don’t think giddey is that good and idk how well Chicago can develop him
If Giddey wasn’t a good player the Bulls would have never traded for him. Despite Giddey recent playoff performance the fact of the matter is Giddey is the ultimate compliment to what any team has going, he can score 20 points, or he can have 15 rebounds, and he is smooth at tranisitioning a court, and passes are at times spectacular. Giddey can improve from a consistency standpoint. Teams that are not trying to win it all now can work on that since he is very very young unlike Caruso. A - for OKC and B+ for the Bulls.
i mean that all sounds great but he didn’t really do that often last year with okc, maybe the change of scenery with the bulls and a rebuild from the bulls can make a new young team to grow around giddey

Giddey is the best Chicago could wish for and yall saying this is one sided. Demar needs a true PG to run the offense, not just overwhelm Coby the entire game. Of course you lose some defensive game but this seems to be the Bulls management finally waking up and accepting to start a rebuild. People forget Josh is still 21 and one of the best passers in the league, decent rebounder and all-around in his role.
They also apparently want to trade Zach so that might be interesting
idk if you watch KOT4Q Kenny but he’s a bull fan who released another video about the trade and he mentioned there should be 0 mins where demar and josh play together lmao, i fully agree i dont see a way how the bulls make this trade for giddey and keep the rest of their big 3, demar lavine and vuc should all be moved ,
also Josh giddey being a good passer doesn’t matter as much when his scoring is basically a 0, it’s harder to generate offense for others when the opposing defense isn’t defending you

He is only 21. He has improved his shot every year, even as much as 10% in his 2nd year. With Lonzo, the Bulls were a legit 6th seed, and he only averaged 13/5/5. Giddey is already better than Lonzo and can easily pull off 20/8/8 if he's running the offense. The problem with the Thunder is he's not a good fit because the ball is in Shai's hands. It has nothing to do with how bad he is.
DeMar is walking dude. Idk why you think he's coming back after turning down a 40 million a year extension. Zach and Vuc are gonna be gone too. It's time to see what the kids can do.

Horrible take. You probably have never seen Giddey play other than the Mavs series. He is shooting 54% and 40% on 3s while averaging 19/7/7 when the ball is in his hands, which the Bulls will let him. Those are all star numbers. Educate yourself before you make another video.
