This set was revealed the summer before sixth grade for me. I saved up all summer and got the set the first week of sixth grade. All my friends were so jealous and this is my favorite lego set to this day. Beautiful display piece with some awesome figures, also helps that the deepstone suits are probably my favorite

I'd totally buy every small house of ninjago like the side built if they were selling these kind of things!
Especially if it’s a modular type build that can fit with the other big sets, it would be great to make a ninjago city without having to spend hundreds of dollars to get the big modular sets.

When I was a kid I was unaware of the existence of small sets so I thought it just couldn't buy any Ninjago set ever because of how expensive they were

I was always aware of the smaller sets but my parents never bought any of them until s3 was around and i got the overborg attack set, The set is not good but the Borg minifigure is really cool and sure some prints on it are little bit off because i played with my lego sets but i think the minifigure still is in my condition worth around at least 9 pounds. Also I remember when i wanted the golden dragon as a kid and my parents never got it for me, then around s6 i stopped watching ninjago because when i heard that s7 will be about time travel i was kinda sceptical about that and then the movie came out and i stopped watching entirely until november of 2020 when i started watching again from s7 to S13 and i am glad i am back in the fanbase

@@J3ffik I stopped watching Ninjago because of how poorly the airing scheduled was organized, not because I had ever lost interest, since most season are now on Netflix I was finally able to catch up on it

It's good to see young people are still using Lego. I gave up for a while, when I had kids, but have rediscovered the joy of Lego now that they are grown up. I'm really into MOC vehicles and modular buildings, but the Ninjagos are pretty awesome as well!

I'm glad I got this set for $100 instead of $200 when i was like 10. However the dumbass i was destroyed the side buildings but left the temple alone. Still a great set
I got the destiny bounty in the same wave when I was 9 my parents spent 7 hours building only for my dumbass to trip and face plant into it the next day

I got this set as a kid, harvested the figures, built the shops and never built the temple itself. Its now in loads of places and never will be..I hate me too!

When I was 9 always wanted the temple of airjitsu, so I saved up all my Christmas money despite it being £140
I bought it and it was in my room for years.
But I broke it up recently and It might take a while to find all the pieces in my 'organised' storage 😭
It was still a good investment though.
Update: I finished building it and I'm very happy
If u rebuild it color sort the pieces it makes rebuilding big sets much easier

One thing people don’t talk about is how much care the people that sold this set had for it like numbering the bags.
Yeah, i've sold sets before with numbered bags, a set of that size would take ages to sort.
gotta agree... people walk into my apartment, that temple is the first thing they see... then they see the 2017 bounty... then they see a lot of weird other lego sets... truly an amazing set!

I got it when I was 8 and used all my money because it’s one of those sets that I needed as soon as I saw it especially because season 5 was my fav and I saw so many vids and websites with this set so I saved up and finally got this set and was real happy and excited to build the temple and houses. I loved the build to the play features and minifigs and all the rare pieces. The only other set I got from the wave was city of stix. Oh the nostalgia

I went though a very very very very surprisingly similar process when I recently bought the 2008 7676 Republic Gunship, like the only details that are different were the actual set and the exact price.
