The technique to stretch from down n top is not required. Only technique one must use is either from left or right.

can it be used on cloth ? what and how to stick them to canvas ? no glue?
Yes sculpture paste can be used on cloth. Ideally, apply a layer of sculpture paste as a base for a slightly rough texture and then create your art on cloth or canvas. You will not need any glue.

You can use on MDF boards or acrylic sheet.

Gesso and chalk paint is almost same
No they are completely different. Gesso is a primer and chalk paints are the acrylic paints which comes in huge range of colours which gives matte finish for your project.

How to recover this sculpture paste? Bcz after opening it this started drying 😭
Remove the whole paste and put it on a transparent sheet. Then slowly add water and loosen the paste with a palette knife. I did the same and my paste is back to normal. Even if u add a little more water its ok because it will eventually dry
