Thank you somuch for these videos Leesa, they have been a true saviour in this process! I have a question, if you know: If I'm the reference person, should I first submit my application for a student visa, and right after my spouse applies for her fammily immigration? Or is this done in a kind of joint application?

No, it's not. UDI is where you fill out the application no matter where you are applying from. You have to register separate application for family immigration. THank You Leesa for your very impormative video about family immigration. I have 2 questions,
    1. Do you know that how long VISA is valied before land on Norway for dependent? I mean that, Me and my wife both going to apply same time (me as a student), but she (dependent) will not come with me for first time. She planned to come later after 3 or 4 months. So I want to know that how long she can stay in home country before VISA expire for first land on Norway.
    2. How can I apply VISA for children? Do we need to submit separate application for children apart of my wife's application? or can we include kid in the same application?
    Thank you.

    Hello dear Leesa,
can a student applying for student visa pay separate visa fees for student visa, then pay separate visa fees for family immigration for his children and spouse? i mean pay student visa fees alone, then pay family immigration fees for each accompanying family member or its a lumpsum for all family members accompanying the student?
Secondly can a student apply for family immigration if his course of study is only one year in Norway?
