- Hi guys!! I hope you liked the new layout and that you are enjoying the new power scale, Nagato vs Minato was a very hard one to make, as some versions of each of them, especially the ones during their childhood, don't have much screen time to grant a 100% accurate scaling, but as always I tried my best with what I had available. What do you think about KCM Minato being stronger than Edo Nagato ? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section down below!!

The reason he's so underrated/undermined is just because he doesn't have as much screen time as the other Hokages (which i think is weird, personally).

The 2nd is a powerhouse. I'm just saying the 3rd in his prime was said to be tiers above the 2nd in terms of skill, power, speed, chakra and intelligence.

I honestly feel pain too underrated, yall forget Pain in his fight against Jiraiya the deva path was out of battle due nagato underestimating him, once the 6 pain appeared he was killed instantly even fugasaku told him to retreat. What I'm saying is that if pain fought Naruto with all 6 pain he would have won easily and keeping in mind Pain was not trying to kill but capture him.

The Kurama avatar wouldn't matter as Nagato would immediately summon the gedo then game over. Nagato was able to keep up with KCM Naruto very easily who was supposedly as fast as FTG, so it's safe to assume that Nagato would react to FTG. I don't see Minato doing anything to Nagato's summons. And since Nagato is stronger than Pain, Nagato can just levitate in the sky and create a bigger almighty push than Pain that will cause and force Minato to flee the battlefield. Both have a good chance of winning, but I'll say Nagato 60 and Minato 50.
1.I disagree,Minato has kcm, nagato fought a kcm1 Naruto and bee, not a kcm2. Kcm2 Naruto would destroy kcm1 Naruto, Minato has a kcm2 cloak and kurama avatar.
2 Naruto cannot be the speed of flying raijin since flying thunder God is an instantaneous technique, if kcm1 Naruto was instant then nagato wouldn't have stand a chance, so no he's not the speed of ftg but instead he's as fast as Minato reaction time when using flying raijin, meaning that Minato in base>= kcm1 Naruto movement speed and we know Minato as hokage got way faster and then he gets a kcm2 cloak meaning he's now twice as fast as he was before,so nagato simply wouldn't keep up
@@tyriquejackson10 First off, Minato only has KCM in edo tensei. And in edo tensei he was stated slower than his alive self. So KCM Naruto>=KCM Minato, same for BM. It was even stated by the 4th Raikage who literally went up against his father Minato, that Naruto was just as fast as him. And remember Nagato was being controlled as he reacted to both KCM Naruto and Killer Bee. He would be much faster if he controlled himself. And like I said, if Minato goes Kurama avatar, that's it. If we are talking about alive selfs, Nagato wins, all he needs to do is universal pull or almighty push the entire area.

Just my thoughts but i think Nagato would win eventually.
Intelligence, ability to adapt and form tactics and plans, Minato takes this as Minato has been shown to be very very impressive. He had a lot of things going on from his wife giving birth, to the fox attacking the village and he himself has to protect his wife and new born son and even then still managed to outsmart obito and that's a huge huge feat alone. He figured so much out in such a short encounter and managed to do so much that obito decided to retreat.
However with that said, assuming if nagato manages to go back into healthy form/mode (when he took Bee's chakra and managed to become healthy) I actually think Nagato has a better chance at winning despite Minato's smart along with the fox's chakra.
The reason being is, Naruto was in his beast mode and Bee was there too. Both of them would have died if not for Itachi. He had enough strength that neither of these super strong characters could break free from and he was using only one hand to get a hold of naruto. Also his deva path and the other path that absorbs chakra seems to be active quite easily as Naruto rasengan failed when when Nagato was was trying to suck his soul out.
Now I know, if Nagato tries to absorb Minato's chakra if he is in sage mode, Nagato would probablybe defeated because when he encountered Naruto the first time, his path died for now being able to control the natural chakra, turned into a frog stone of sort and then died.
But the thing is Nagato has this knowledge when he is edo tensei. He has so much like deva path and with his speed it shouldn't be a problem. Naruto is super quick and even then he caught Naruto and Bee without problem and their speed should be similar to Minato's. I just can't see how Minato can counter his chibaku tensei and deva path at the same time. When he was healthy he made the chibaku tensei quite easily and quickly. Minato would need Kunai's at some other places to avoid it completely. Given Nagato's speed I would say even if Minato's faster, he would be able to make that much of a difference and with Nagato's endurance I think he can take the hits. But Minato would find it very troublesome to take blows from Nagato, people as strong as Bee and Naruto found it like impossible to get out of his hold.
Also Minato cannot go into sage mode for long and is impractical for him to use it for the amount of time it takes for him to use it then loses it very shortly after.
I think Minato is awesome, one of the cleverest and able to keep calm and assess the situation quickly then form plans almost immediately but Nagato takes this for having the rinnegan abilities and his raw strength is something seriously seriously troublesome with a speed that can match even the fastest ninja's.
I think Minato gets underestimated and overestimated quite a lot. We kind of know that the story at the start definitely overstated his power of sort since he was like painted as the best and most powerful Hokage. But it's very clear that at the very least he, Hashirama is far superior. No one can do a thing to edo tensei Madara. Blind madara was dominating everyone. But then you got Hashirama who still not at full power (I think they mentioned when he was released from the reaper that this time they are almost at full power so still not at his very best, think this was in the manga) still managed to fight an edo tensei Madara who at this point had rinnegan and also Hashirama's cells. Despite this they fought to a draw! This isn't something Minato can do and to be fair maybe tobirama is stronger than minato too.
though with what's been said he would give most other a good fight even if he loses, the only exceptions to who he cannot give a good fight is of course people like Madara, Hashirama, Naruto 10 tails with the sage of 6 paths, Sasuke with sage of six paths power, Kaguya etc (then again not many can give any of these a good fight since they take op into a whole new level).

none of these jutsus that made naruto kcm 1 struggle like soul stealing or chibaku tensei would work on minato since mf has hiraishin to avoid any of these. plus don't forget minato has kcm2 while naruto had only kcm1 at this moment but also minato way smarter in a fight than current naruto. hiraishin is also a tech that kinda counters shinra tensei since it doesnt need a lot of chakra to use.

Cuz his rinnegan abilities is more useful and reliable. Minato has yin and yang release and fire release,lightning release, and wind release but the ftg is more reliable and useful. Tobirama has all five nature types but he clearly uses ftg and water style more becuz the two is more reliable and useful.

Very good, if not great, scaling again (especially again compared to other Naruto scaling systems on CZcams). I'd agree on everything other than nitpicking that Danzo is high kage level (izanagi is broken but Sasuke killed the man literally 9 times) and Hanzo one could argue he isn't either (we know Tsunade didn't create 100 healings nor the byakugou seal until she left the village, Orochimaru didn't do any of his experiments until really after the THIRD ninja war and Jiraiya didn't get rasengan until he started personally training Minato after the war and probably better learned sage mode watching Minato learning it as well) but both are for sure kage level. Also to nitpick, Minato didn't need help from Naruto to access the Kurama Avatar. Yin Kurama didn't even fight with him and let him access it.
On another note, people tend to mess up the timeline of when Jiraiya trained these two. Minato is 5 years older than Nagato and was part of Jiraiya's genin team. Then, during the second ninja war is when Nagato at age 7-8 along with Konan and Yahiko trained with Jiraiya. By age 10, he mastered all 5 nature types + yin release (which is a given, the rinnegan being a dojutsu is one of, if not, the best at yin release maybe other than sharingan izanagi and izanami although they derive from Hagoromo's rinnegan + six paths sage technique). Also during the war is when Minato defeated the 3 cloud jonin as at around age 11-12. He actually could have been a chunin when this feat happened cause Kushina was around 12 years old when this happened and she had become a genin But Minato graduated from the academy at age 10 and it's Minato, who scored the highest in the chunin exams and his chunin exams is unrivaled other than by Itachi's. It's likely Minato became a chunin at age 11 and rescued Kushina at age 12 since Kushina is younger than Minato by like 6 months or so. After the war though, is when Minato was personally trained by Jiraiya (similar to him training Naruto) around the same time as Naruto too, roughly 3-4 years. We know this because Obito and Rin become genin at age 9 and Minato is 9-10 years older than his genin team. So from age 15-16 to 18-19 is when he learned the rasengan given Kakashi at age 12, already knew of it to create chidori. We also know for a fact that he mastered Flying Thunder God by Kakashi Gaiden.
So really, there's probably not any difference other than even more mastery and increase in physicals between a 20-22 year old 3rd Ninja war Jonin Minato (should note he was probably a jonin long before this too, it's Minato) and Hokage Minato. So I think Jonin or Hokage or Base Edo Minato > Six Paths of Pain. I also believe he's greater than "Rage" Nagato who first awakened his rinnegan at age 15. This Nagato didn't know about the true power of the rinnegan until Obito taught him (who learned from Madara) and the phantom dragon Hanzo who by his own right is fast, was able to dodge it. We're talking about Minato here. Also, just to note Minato is physically superior than any of the paths that we've seen other than the deva. With just his marked kunai he could cut one of Gyuki's tails. To note, the only things that have been able to cut Gyuki's tails are a Juubidama, Sasuke's chidori eiso and Minato's kunai. Not comparing his cut to a Juubidama (lol) but Minato with a normal rasengan that could even damage a zetsu enhanced Obito (who even in orange mask Akatsuki was WAY more durable than any of the paths).

2. Nagato: Edo Full Power
3. Minato: Edo / Alive Sage Mode (while he was a "perfect" sage, he couldn't maintain it long and never used it in battle)

12. Minato: Academy (considering Boruto and Itachi were seen at a chunin level in the academy, yeah Minato is at least chunin level in power also)

While I agree with you with almost all of the points, hokage Minato had to get the edge over jounin Minato who mastered flying thunder god even physicals wise especially if you are using itachi's talents as a gage since their both unrivaled as prodigies. Remember Itachi was anbu at 11 and chief of anbu at 12-13, that's a 2 year gap, Minato was 21-22 when he became hokage so by right you have to gage 24 year old Minato to see his feats and as such hokage Minato scales drastically over jounin Minato it's not even close anymore, I do agree that physical strength wise jounin Minato to 24 year old hokage Minato are all physically stronger than the pains, but even the 21-22 year old would still be much stronger than the 19-20 year old and the 21-22 year old Minato has to be weaker than the 24 year old we saw the feats from with the Ninetails and so on if you scale it off itachi as a prodigy because it seems like every 2-3 years itachi becomes a god to his former self, for example anbu chief itachi at 12-13 would absolutely shit on 11 year old anbu itachi, in a similar case 14 year old itachi who faught the 4th mizukage would get absolutely destroyed by 17-18 year old itachi that fought kakashi and guy and jiraiya and bodies Sasuke at least skill wise since he was skill. However if you scale it off orochimaru it's a bit different since he cut that huge gap he had with hiruzen from 13 years prior in half as he was capable of fighting an older hiruzen after 10 years since he left the village. This doesn't mean he beats hiruzen from 13 years prior because he stated himself he would have lost if hiruzen was 10 years prior to that time, but he would do much better in a fight with hiruzen 13 years younger than that orochimaru from 13 years could of ever did, even jiraiya after getting the rasengan became a god to his former self despite already having great physical strength to begin with, he with his sage mode can just use giant rasengan that can carve away mountains and he can do that over and over, so in all shinobi actually over short periods of time get huge gigantic amps to their former selves,so we can assume the same for Minato especially if you consider him the same level as itachi as a talent.

And kcm naruto was struggling against a weaker nagato (kcm naruto was near minato speed) (and as we know kcm > sage mode)

@@momotheone9700 No worries I followed along. Well before I do comment on your response I will say that I have jonin Minato stronger than Six Paths of Pain also but that could just be me. Also, I was more so saying this originally cause he did have jonin Minato below the Six Paths when nothing really shows that if one thinks Hokage Minato > Six Paths of Pain, there's nothing to suggest jonin Minato < Six Paths of Pain especially when all his abilities he already had as a jonin and the only thing I presume is he would just get even more proficient and physically stronger naturally (I say naturally cause even in real life typically if one is training constantly or is an athlete, they usually hit their physical prime in their late 20s to early 30s depending on the skill/sport). It's heavily implied Minato died even before reaching his full potential at age 24 and it's evident by his lack of ultimate mastery over sage mode and adding a change in chakra nature to the rasengan. Even then, I would easily argue Jonin AND Hokage Minato > Six Paths of Pain. It also is worth noting that Minato really was Hokage for less than a year, probably only for the 10 months that Kushina was in childbirth. Obito attacked the village on the anniversary of Rin's death, which is said to have happened still during the 3rd ninja war. But this is a bit nitpicking and I'm assuming when we're talking about Jonin Minato, we are talking about Kakashi Gaiden Minato, who should be about 2 years younger than the Hokage Minato who died the day Naruto was born.
Now in terms of your response, can't disagree although I wouldn't really compare prodigies like that in a linear fashion but I understand your point of prodigies can improve drastically in a short amount of time. Hell Naruto went from a week before war arc finally getting KCM to day 1 of the war using KCM to end of day 3 having Six Paths Sage Mode. Sasuke didn't even open his EMS until end of day 1 or even early day 2 (can't remember) and by end of day 3 had six paths chakra and a 6-tomoe rinnegan. OF COURSE, these are crazy exceptions and will never be the norm. But Itachi's progression (as with all Uchiha) is in conjunction with his dojutsu. Of course 13 year old would destroy 11 year old Itachi, he has the mangekyo on top of natural training and physical progression. Also with Itachi, it's a bit tougher to say when was his strongest when he was alive. By FEATS, he showed the most with his mangekyo abilities during the Uchiha massacre and immediately right after having confirmed kills with tsukuyomi and no diff Orochimaru too. Of course his other strongest feat is on his deathbed against Sasuke and Orochimaru with his armored susano'o. We do know during the timeskip and even in early Shippuden, Itachi was prolonging his life due to an illness so the last time he might have been his prime was in part 1 at age 17-18 which naturally wouldn't make sense cause he should be getting stronger like any normal human would as they grow into adulthood (of course the illness was stopping this). Why I think that's part of the reason as an edo he performs crazy feats cause he doesn't have to show it in spurts like he would when he was alive (plus an edo mangekyo is like a pseudo-EMS). To be specific to that Orochimaru comparison, you can't really scale it off of that cause that was more of Hiruzen in his old age where as 10-12 years prior (around Naruto's birth & around Orochimaru leaving the village) Hiruzen was on the back-end of his prime (and at this time Minato was stronger than Hiruzen in my opinion and lore implies it too). Jiraiya should have learned rasengan while training up Minato and Jiraiya would've been in his early-mid 30s at that point compared to 50-51 at start of Naruto and 54-55 post time-skip.
The Sannin honestly are weird cause after their fight with Hanzo all three get MASSIVE boost in power. Orochimaru starts to learn almost all jutsu, learns edo tensei, creates curse mark, has experiments with sharingan & Hashi cells, and even gets powers from the white snake sage but can't obtain sage mode and plus he starts transferring his body to different vessels. Tsunade creates the byakugou seal, mitotic regeneration and the strength of 100 seal technique (all of which were during the time she left the village cause Orochimaru didn't know about any of these jutsu in part 1). Jiraiya learns the rasengan from Minato and helps train Minato in sage mode, probably helping to better fuse it even if he was still an imperfect sage. It is worth noting that Jiraiya didn't even have sage mode completely in his arsenal by the 2nd ninja war as the 3 Ame orphans were not aware of this ability (although they knew of his frog summoning and Pain even knew of Mount Myoboku although that could just be from legend not from Jiraiya) implying that even though Jiraiya had trained in senjutsu from a young age, he didn't start peaking at it until either training Minato or after Orochimaru left the village since he did try to stop Orochimaru similar to Naruto & Sasuke and like Naruto the first time, he failed. Also, Jiraiya has sealing jutsu, some of which he could've learned from Minato and Kushina. And don't get me started on Boruto era Orochimaru. He's like 70 and probably stronger than he was after getting his arms back & having a Hashirama cell enhanced white zetsu body in the war arc. So yeah Sannin are a bit weird cause Orochimaru can essentially stay strong forever as long as the body he has won't break down (plus he can clone now). Tsunade's full power is stored in a seal in her forehead so technically she's always weakened even in base cause a part of her chakra reserves she stores in the seal. With Jiraiya his full power is stored throughout the earth and gathering it so even if he's an old man, as long as he has the chakra reserves and help (being an imperfect sage), he can just gather nature energy to convert senjutsu.
@@danielalvarado3846 So yeah technically Pain Arc Sage Naruto never really came close to beating a weakened six paths of pain (I do believe war arc sage Naruto would defeat the Paths but that's another topic and has more to do with scaling to 1/2 Kurama).
Also, Nagato was not weaker as an edo tensei, Naruto literally states that he's stronger than the six paths of pain and Naruto notes that he's stronger in KCM than in sage mode overall. Like the video, I would put edo tensei Nagato > enraged 15 year old Nagato who didn't know how to use his rinnegan (Cause Obito posing as Madara didn't teach him yet) and who after the fight became immobile and had to rely on 6 pain bodies.
Okay let's just do this first cause I get what you're trying to say but you end up more so comparing Hokage Minato to Nagato when scaling. So to get this out of the way, in my opinion ranking all of these characters (Killer Bee, Nagato, 6 Paths of Pain, Minato, KCM only versions Naruto, Sage Mode only versions of Naruto, 4th Raikage):
1. Edo KCM Minato (both "base" KCM and Kurama Avatar)
2. Edo Nagato
3. "MASTERED" KCM Naruto (same Naruto who already has Bijuu Mode and in unison with Kurama but can revert back to KCM. This same Naruto was comparable to no susano'o EMS Sasuke in the war, could shield and power the shinobi alliance and could tank the 10 tails cataclysm)
4. KCM Naruto
5. Hokage Minato (could be ahead of KCM Naruto, arguable)
6. Jonin Minato
7. Killer Bee
8. War Arc Sage Naruto (one who fights 3rd Raikage, fights 1/2 Kurama)
9. Six Paths of Pain
10. 4th Raikage
(where I'd put V2 6 tails Naruto)
11. Pain Arc Sage Naruto
Now the Raikage was nowhere close to the reaction speed of Minato and really Killer Bee had the better feats in that brief flashback. And to be honest KCM Naruto is not near Minato's speed when using the flying thunder god. Now Minato's natural body flicker and reaction speeds KCM Naruto, the 4th Raikage and Killer Bee are all near if not on par (C even says so) but the actual speed it's nigh impossible. The Flying Thunder God is instantaneous and can even counter Obito's kamui with the only ones we've seen counter it being at a six paths level reaction (and even then, non-six paths characters in Bijuu Sage Naruto and EMS Sasuke could later react, anticipate and attack Juubi Obito) or near like Hashirama and Madara. KCM Naruto speed wise was more so on par to faster than the Raikage (3rd and 4th) whereas Minato was casually above that even in normal FTG. Remember, there is a level 2 FTG where the user teleport to the moving kunai (Tobirama tried this on revived Madara and Minato did this on Obito. In fact, in the manga Minato gets to the marker and tags Obito with the rasengan BEFORE catching the kunai).
In terms of a fight against the Pain's, only the Deva has shown to be durable enough to withstand a rasengan from Minato and even with bansho tenin, shinra tensei and chibaku tensei, Minato would have no problem moving around and avoiding the attacks. Even if starting out where the eyes are linked, Minato just needs a shadow clone and would have no trouble. It's also worth noting that Minato can probably put a barrier FTG seal over chibaku tensei like how he did with Full Kurama's bijuudama. I really don't see how the Pain's can stop someone whose teleportation jutsu ignores space and time. Wherever Minato marks, not only does it stay marked but he can enter and exit their (dimensions and time-space included). Against Nagato, it's a different story because as an edo physically he's much stronger, even though he can't use the strongest path, the outer path, he can effortlessly use the basic six paths all at the same time and his chibaku tensei seems to be much stronger than Pain's which was broken out of by 8 tails V2 Naruto (who keep in mind is only HALF of a v2 8 tails where as Minato can hold off, restrain and remove the FULL Kurama from blowing up the village). With Nagato's chibaku tensei, it took Itachi's strongest long range attack and KCM Naruto's & Killer Bee's strongest attacks in their arsenal at the time just to negate the chibaku tensei. But yeah Edo KCM Minato > Edo Nagato having full control over his yin half of Kurama.

Fused/Final Momoshiki has 3 Rinnegan + 2 Byakugan + 50ish% od Adult Naruto's chakra + Kinshiki(who ate multiple God Fruits) + Multiple God Fruits + Otsutsuki Golem.
