A violent holiday weekend rocked downtown St. Louis with thousands of police calls and a mass shooting early Friday that injured seven people. Monday night, city leaders, including the circuit attorney and police chief, held a town hall meeting to address downtown residents' concerns.

Everybody knows you can’t expect to get police to respond when you call police on the days before and after the 4th. The dispatchers even let you know your on you own.
