WHAT IS THIS NEW SONG? It is the song of the children of the new covenant. the first converts of the nations that came to Messiah through the message of the apostles themselves. The 144,000. They are singing from the islands and every nation, kindred and tongue.
The new covenant of Jeremiah's vision. The law fulfilled and the old heaven and earth (The kingdom of Israel) passed away. Grace, grace, speak grace unto it.
All forgiven and all loved. The atonement paid. Now all are invited to drink freely, from the waters of God's Spirit. Publish glad tidings of great joy! Tell it from the Mountain tops and in the valleys. Messiah has come, the lamb has been slain. All are invited to the wedding feast.

Judaism (as we claim is the true form of Judaism) has no secrets - it’s not a game.
If your argument is simply that rabbi singer is twisting things to the way he likes you need to move on.
Judaism has real reasons why we do not accept j or the new testament or the way Christians explain the Old Testament.
Rabbi singer isn’t coming up with his own theories- he is explaining why Judaism rejects Christianity.
Perhaps one day you will actually have a good faith discussion about why the two religions disagree. Until then conversation is pointless

And that in Judaism we believe that Moses also instructed the ppl about the oral law AND how to understand the specific ways he encoded the laws into the written Torah.

Hopefully there will be restoration of being animals in some way. Animal lovers would hope that they would be like they were back in the Garden of Eden. They existed in a different way back then.. would like to think that they have some instinctive understanding of God.. regardless, the scriptures could have dual meaning.. and their digestive systems would adapt to vegetation perhaps.
This is refreshing after watching with frustration some videos of people who think that only the King James bible is the true word of God. Why I put myself through that is another question

Hardly anyone, especially so called scholars, seem to know what Christianity is. So it is highly unlikely you even learned that JESUS taught the Shema to be 1st 🥇 of All…Mark 12:28-34; One Faith, once delivered to the saints(devout Jews) and all else is controlled opposition or not the full picture: John 3:3-5 = Acts 2:38-39…to the Jew first and also to the Greek in fulfillment of G-D’s promise to Abraham.(Genesis 18:18)

And you are just plain stupid if you think you know Hebrew better than the people who actually read it and speak it day to day. It is quite easy, just look it up in a Hebrew/English dictionary. You won't find Almah meaning "virgin" in it. Which means that you have been lied too by whomever told you such things.

I know Rabbi Singer would never claim this, but isnt he describing a lot of his own characteristics in this video. Maybe there are a few more criteria to meet to be messiah, but I think Rabbi has greatly opened the eyes of everyone of his listeners with the knowledge and wisdom Hashem has blessed on him. He is teaching us about following the Torah, correcting us, and rebuking us. Never heard anyone that can recite a lot of the OT and NT by heart and help us understand the history and context behind it. I believe he makes an excellent candidate for messiah. It's my understanding that Rabbi Tovia is from the line of David. Is anyone else reaching out to as many people to teach us the Torah and set us straight?
Although Rabbi Singer is a fantastic Teacher of Tanach, the Tanach tells us at the end of the book of Malachi, that the Jewish Messiah will be heralded by the Prophet Elijah.

The analogy of the animals being metaphors for nations or empires keeps going over my head. I read isaiah chapter 11 in the KJV and in my Hebrew to English version of tanach, then I listen to Christian scholars interpretation of this chapter, which doesn't makes sense. My first interpretation of the scripture was that it's describing through metaphors the level of peace and tranquility that will be on earth during this time. I'm gathering that in order to understand how these animals are representing nations or empires I have to read Daniel. Is that correct?

The original book of Revelation was written around 500 BCE. It was part of a collection of prophecies written by a woman named Heropbile who lived in a cave near the ancient town of Cumae, in Campania, Italy. She was known as the Cumaean Sibyl, and the general populous considered her 'a slowly ageing but immortal priestess. Herophile was one of several women who prophesied under the supposed inspiration of pagan deities and delivered her prophecies in a frenzied state. She was considered the greatest seer of Pagan antiquity and the Sibyl's influence reached deeply into the xtian canon, for one of those books that was written by her was later edited and became the Book of Revelation. Her influence on Christianity was so great that Even Michangelo painted her along side of Jesus on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel.
The Sibyl’s writings, regarded as ‘the mouthpiece of the gods’, were recognized as the most efficacious instruments in Roman religion, and were customarily observed and respected by all Romans.
The originals perished in the fire that destroyed the Temple of Capitolinusin 83 BCE, and were immediately replaced with copies from other temples. A special priestly college, called the Quindecimviri Sacris Faciundis, was set up by Julius Caesar, to take charge of the Sibylline books, and its sixteen members excercised great influence on decisions of state.
Augustus, the first Roman Emperor, directed the preparation of additional identical sets of the Sibyl’s oracles, and they were supplied to the Senate in Egypt, and to priests in all the Hellenised lands.
In 12 BCE, he transferred a special ‘pontifex’ collection to the Temple of Apollo, on the Palatine hill, where it remained until 405 CE. All this demonstrated their legal status, and their immeasurable worth, while misuse of the Sibyl’s oracles was punishable by death. For at least the first four centuries CE, the Sibylline Books were held to be the highest religious authority in the Roman Empire. So highly regarded were the Sibyl’s prophecies that the fourth century church usurped her second book, inserted narratives that dealt with xtian characters, and then said it was a divine revelation given to the apostle John given from heaven, and added it to their new testament.
Original church records state that Cerinthus ‘rewrote’ the original Sibyl’s prophecies to create a falsified version, that was adjusted again in the fourth century, when it was added to the xtian canon. The early church was so concerned that the general populace would learn that its book of Revelation was a forgery, that in 405 CE the Bishop of Rome ordered the Roman general Flavius Stilicho to burn as many copies of the Sibylline Books as he could find. The Bishop of Alexandria, Dionysius (204 CE), had much earlier denounced the Book of Revelation, as being “without sense or reason, a forgery by Cerinthus.”.

Remember moshiach is a Gd created position for men, which had criteria that had to be met to be called such.

Dear Rabbi Singer, Although Jewish people legally were not permitted into England there was a thriving small community in London. There were around 100 people and the community was in the Shoreditch section of London. Synagogue would have been schteebl style that is in a house but there was not allowed to be a formal synagogue built. For sure Jewish people were living in London by the mid-1500s. Daniel (the book) recounts a vision at night (which means, in a dream).
He saw a man who was given blessings from God.
(‘one like a son of man’ is poetic speech for ‘a man’)
For comparison, the JPS translation (Jewish scholars) translate that passage thusly:
As I looked on, in the night vision,
One like a human being
Came with the clouds of heaven;
He reached the Ancient of Days
And was presented to Him.
Dominion, glory and kingship were given to him;
All peoples and nations of every language must serve him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away,
And his kingship, one that shall not be destroyed.
One thing people should ALWAYS do, when looking at plucked out verses like this, is pull back and consider the overall context. In this, Daniel is in the middle of ‘prophesying’ for King Belshazzar of Babylon.
For interpretation, the simplest course is to read on, and you find that Daniel has his dream explained to him, and over in verse 27, the ‘son of man’ who is given ‘kingship’ is clearly identified:
‘The kingship and dominion and grandeur belonging to all the kingdoms under Heaven will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. Their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’
So there you have it. The ‘son of man’ (human being) in Daniel’s dream is the personification of the nation of Israel (the Jewish people as a whole).
It’s right there, clearly, in verse 27.
Now take a hike!
Your fundamental problem is your reliance upon others for the hebrew translation.
Take a closer look at what the text of Zechariah 12:10 really says.
10. "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication, and they will look onto Me whom (et asher) they have pierced and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep for Him like the weeping over a first born. 11. In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12. and the land will mourn every family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself; and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself; and their wives by themselves..."
The Christian reading of this passage is massively problematic. The words "Me" and "Him" makes it quite obvious that the text is speaking of two different subjects. The gospel of John acknowledged this and therefore rendered the passage as, "they shall look on Him whom they pierced." This New Testament mistranslation of Zechariah in and of itself demonstrates that the New Testament is fallacious.
To interpret this passage that at some future time the "Jewish people shall look unto Me (G-d/Jesus) whom they (the Jewish people) pierced" does not seem to be what John had in mind. It is important to note that according to John, Zechariah's prophesy was fulfilled at the time that the Roman soldiers pierced the side of Jesus. As it says in John 19:36, "For these things came to pass that the scripture might be fulfilled." John saw the two different subjects of Zechariah's passage as the Roman soldiers and Jesus.
"They (the Roman soldiers) shall look on Him (Jesus) whom they (the Roman soldiers) pierced.
There is an additional problem in this passage. The Hebrew words "et asher" are not found very often in scripture. When they do occur together the phrase is read as "concerning whom" or "concerning that" but never as "whom". You can see this by reading the Hebrew original of Ezekiel 36:27. (It is also interesting to note that the Septuagint does not translate "et asher" as "whom." Its translation does not at all resemble the Christian interpretation.)
The correct translation of Zechariah 12:10 should be."they will look onto Me concerning whom they have pierced and they will mourn for him"
This is consistent with the two subjects. By reviewing the context we can also understand of whom this passage is speaking. Starting with the beginning of Zechariah chapter 12 the prophet speaks of a time when the nations of the world will be gathered against Jerusalem to destroy it (Zec 12:3). On that day, G-d Himself will defend Jerusalem and destroy all of its enemies (Zec 12:4-9). G-d will pour out a spirit of grace and supplication toward the Jews. Grace is requested from G-d and supplication are directed to G-d.
This new spirit will motivate the Jewish nation to look towards G-d concerning those Jews (collective Jewish Martyrs) (see Hosea 11:1 for the Jewish people described as him. See Ex.1 etc. verbs of oppression in singular. Cf. Deut 32, Hos 8:3 and Ex. 19:2) who have been killed in battle prior to G-d's divine intervention in fighting our adversaries.
All the inhabitants of Jerusalem will mourn. This has obviously not yet been fulfilled, now or when the Roman soldier looked at Jesus. This understanding is validated by the scriptural description that this mourning in Jerusalem would be "like the mourning of Hadadrimmom in the Valley of Magiddo." This refers to the death of King Josiah who was killed in battle with Pharaoh Neco (2 Kings 23:29-30). After his death all of Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him (2 Chron 35:22-25). In the same way that the Jews mourned over King Josiah who died in battle so too will the Jewish people in the future mourn over their war dead.
