When considering my optic it came down to Eotech 512 or XP3-2 and the Holosun. There was 3 factors that made me go with EOTech. Parralax free, 1 MOA dot (EOTech is the only one that goes that small) and the EOTech is made is USA compared to the Holosun which is made in China.
I agree. the parallax on the eotech is non existent but the holosun is really not bad if it was made in the USA it would be a very competitive optic. I love the eotech but i wish it had a green reticle because I’m colorblind.
@@slowguy66 TL;DR if any of this makes your brain hurt buy a red dot. You can find green laser Eotechs in the XPS and EXPS line up. More features more money though. Also EOtech is a sub MOA reticle but our eyes can only resolve .97 arc minutes of light ( just under 1 moa) so they bloom it up to 1MOA. That's why when you put a 3X magnifier behind an EOtech you see a 1 MOA dot still.Whatever they make the dot (.22 .28) when you multiply it by 3 its still
I could care less where its made as long as it was made well. That Chevy you are driving was made in China too, just assembled in USA. Personally would buy Toyota much better vehicle.
@muddyriverdogz not saying holosun is junk cuz it comes from china. They actually are very good. But if i have a choice to spend money in my own economy or give my money away to another country then i will support my brothers and sisters from another state every time. I would rather provide for them so they have a job and can support their own family. I could care less about some corporation from another country. They certainly don't care about me.

I got the eotech 512 today, bullet proof and simple i like simple.
The Holosun is more like a tool with its extra bells and whistles.
Eotech 512 forever.
