  • Hey you guys! I decided to pick up this Felicia Leatherwood brush and try it out. There are so many different hair brushes and combs (denman, wetbrush, wide tooth comb) used for detangling, but this brush seems to be really popular lately. So, I decided to try it out while also comparing it to my FAVORITE detangling tool, the tangle teezer. Watch and see which I like best, and how I feel about the Felicia Brush. Bye Felicia. Lol jk XOXO.

Both are great but I'm leaning more towards the Felicia Leatherwood brush simply bc it's easier to clean. It takes me less than 20 mins to detangle bc I have short, fine, low density natural hair.

It takes me 40 days and 40 nights to detangle my hair just kidding but it takes a long time like two hours because my hair is super THICK and hard to manage. I tried different tools but it feels like it is ripping my hair out which sometimes I stop detangling my hair and just wear it in puff balls or twist out or afro.

Hmmm the Felicia Leatherwood side seems less of a struggle to use so I believe that brush is better 🤔 AND it takes me 25-30 mins to detangle with fingers and a wide tooth comb.. it used to take me a longer time but now I have a technique down & my hair is about your length, medium density 😅

Also, it takes me about 30 minutes to detangle (give or take) I usually detangle as I style soooo, yea! I was excited to see this video because your suggestions haven’t failed me yet & im 5 years in now! WOW....5 whole years! (I’m just now realizing that 😂)

I think felicia was better. The tangle teaser sounds like it was ripping your hair. I have the smaller one and thin hair and my hair has to be predetangled or I will lose hair. It takes me about 40 mins to detangle.

It does sound like it. I compared the tangle teaser with my Denman and I swear it’s only the sound. I get MUCH less shedding and it doesn’t rip out the knots like my Denman does. It sounds like that when you just tap it on your hand lol no clue why

    • @taylorjackson1837

sheena b I agree. There has been nothing like detangling my hair with the tangle teaser. It is AMAZING. It smooths my hair nicely and I get minimal hair loss and no breakage. It’s just the sound because there are long and short silicone bristles and they are all touching each other and the hair.

My hair is very similar to yours. Literally the length and the curl pattern is almost spot on. Lately it’s been taking me a little less time to detangle my hair because I’ve improved my protective styling methods! It takes me around 45 minutes now.

It takes me about an hour to wash and detangle my whole head. And I work in four sections because my hair is so thick. I been using the Felicia Leatherwood brush for over a year and I love it so much.

Gurl I takes me like 15 minutes to detangle my hair now. Before it was closer to 30 minutes a few months back because of my postpartum shedding which I am still going through. Rocking my bald spot lol
You have such a wonderful personality I wish you nothing but the best for you and your family :)

It takes me close to an hour to detangle mainly because of my texture 😫 the struggle is real. I would love to try this brush 💜

I’m super late but geezus krize 😱 It only takes me a good minute or two to detangle each section of my hair & I divide it into 5 sections 😫 Y’all are very patient with your hair I see! My hair rarely gets tangled, only when I do wash and go! Other than that I’m good to go. I also have 3A-3C type hair 🙄 I’ve always wanted kinkier hair btw

It takes me at least an hour to detangle my hair 😩 By the time I’m done detangling I don’t even want to style my hair.
I don’t even know the brand of the brush I have now. Got it at Walmart 🤷🏾‍♀️ but it cut my detangling time in half! Would love to try one of these brushes!!

Right now it's taking about an hour to detangle. I have to use conditioner under running water to get it done in a decent amount of time. I've wanted to get my hands on the FL brush for a WHILE! Thanks for the amazing review! ❤️❤️❤️

It takes me about two hours to detangle unfortunately😩 I only detangle when I wash my hair. The whole process is like 2.5 hours but most of it is detangling

I am a new natural. I would say my detangling time (because it is short) takes about 10 minutes. I have very thick course coils. I am not a fan of the denman brush and was thinking about trying this brush. Winning it would be great! Happy Holiday!

It takes me about a hour to detangle my hair because. I was hit by a car while crossing the street. And i have a broken arm I’ve been dealing with this injury for a long time. And combing my hair with one arm is a challenge. So it would really help me if I had a brush to help get through the process more easily. Thanks girl love your channel

It takes me about 50 minutes to an hour to detangle.. I use a wide tooth comb, then my denman. I've been noticing a little breakage lately, so I need to upgrade lmao. Going to pick up one of these two, trying to have CZcams help me decide. Thanks for the review.

NOTIFICATION GANG OR DON"T BANGGG 💖💖😂 it takes me 45 mins to an hour detangle my hair depending on the hairstyle i did, how matted my hair is, how long i left it without being washed, and because my hair is so thick. and i use a regular brush 😭 lol I was thinking about buying a detangling brush to speed up the process but this video is making me question myself

It takes me about 30-45mins to detangle my hair. I usually apply my deep conditioner, sit under a steamer for 30mins and detangle immediately. I find it super easy to detangle my hair using this method🤗

      @butterflyl0ve212 Před 5 lety

Btw, I like the Felicia Leatherwood brush better. I can see those tangle teaser bristles getting tangled in my coils and yanking my hair right out😖, plus I like to work in bigger sections when detangling🤷🏽‍♀️

  • @prissNcurlss

It takes me about 20mins to detangle when I use a tool and about 40mins when it's fingers only. The felicia side looked a lot easier. I've been wanting to try that brush.

  • @kenquelaloyd-smith9549

I have a knock off version of the brush I got from my local beauty supply store and I love it. It usually takes me 30 min to detangle my hair
