He is so in love with Shiyi. The way he looks at her is so endearing. It took him a while to finally see her. He was so used to scheming women that he automatically assumed that Shiyi was exactly like her sister. She is exactly what he needs.

She doesn't belittle him like Yuanniang did which is a major difference...Yuanniang was focused on gaining status so when he gave up the newest title the Emperor wanted to bestow onto him for the sea ban she was furious. She didn't care that he was trying to honor his father/brothers sacrifice by fighting for the sea ban...she only cared about the title he gave up....she wanted Zhun to inherit another title for his social status. Shiyi never forced on gaining power and status/she understood and supported his desire to fight for the ban.
