Mahindra has recently launched two new variants of the XUV300 - W2 and W4 (with TurboSport). These new entry-level variants make the compact SUV more desirable to a wider audience. This seems like a strategical move ahead of the festive season to boost sales.
The W2 variant is the latest entry-level option for the XUV300 that comes with a price tag of Rs. 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). It comes with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 109 BHP at 5000 RPM and 200 Nm of torque at 2000 - 3500 RPM.
Meanwhile, the W4 trim has been introduced for the XUV300 TurboSport model that comes with a price tag of Rs. 9.29 lakhs (ex-showroom). It also boasts the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine but with a higher power output of 129 BHP at 5000 RPM and 230 Nm torque at 1500 - 3750 RPM. Both the variants come with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Bought xuv300 w4 manual by Jan 2023 ,except power packed and smooth diesel engine performance , AC blower issue, wet road la disc brake awkward function, 3000 km - steering link rod issue, 9000km clutch plate issue , idha ellam solli puriyadha service issue, one of the sodhapal Indian company. Mahindra is over-hyped.
All are fine as you said like boot space is the one and only issue in xuv300

Have Bought w8(o) diesel running 8k kms without any issues, punchy engine good steering balance at highways @140+ , braking is at top notch also in my point boot space was not problem for our family ! Spares also cheap compared to other brands , only drawback am seeing is unable to change the seat covers due to airbag issues and if we they provide 360° degree at this price could be classy.........So overall am satisfied with my Mahindra XUV300 .....dono y people are always thinking off boot space are we gonna fill it up always ???????
