Solo Collection from the Rock Drumming Series

Some of you have asked me if I could compile all the solos from this series into one video so here they are. All of the solos are groove based and reflect what was discussed in each part of the series. These are the intros and outro solos for parts 1 - 7.

Equipment
The cymbals are old 1960's A Zildjians.
15" Hi hats (or 14" Sabian Vault on a few of the later solos), 22" ride, 18" crash/ride and 18" crash
The drums are Peavy RSB1's (Radial 1000's)
22" BD, 10", 12",14",16" toms
The microphones I am using are two Neumann U89 overheads and a Shure Beta 52 on the Bass Drum.

Wow, Rick you remind me of my drum teacher back in the late 1970s. He was a jazz, funk and rock drummer with a similar skill level as you. He played a lot of the same beats and fills as you do with great syncopation ability.

Most likely for the click track. A lot of people don't like in ear monitors.
