I love this trailer. I really like the door set up that one that lets the air in would be really good for your pet or safety from a small bear. The whole layout is really clean. This really looks sturdy for off the beaten path . Great job PJ. as always ❤

Nice trailer. The one thing and this is my only gripe... Those big bars at the dinette. It's awesome they have a place to put your feet up, but your back isn't comfortable. You have a big round bar on the wall. I also would prefer a bigger freezer, especially when I'm a long way in the bush camping.
We saw one of these in person and it was actually disappointing. Especially for how expensive it is. They have neat outdoor rooms though, which were a nice feature.
Done I really wish more companies in the USA would include a full Annex room like that it would be nice if it fully blocks access to under the trailer so you can even let pets out right there I travel with two cats it would be nice to be able to set up some scratching posts and play stuff where they were safe but could enjoy the outdoors

PJ never went over the AC unit can it run off the lithium battery or does it have to be hooked up to shore or generator power ?
2 things i would change are indoor little sink not big enough and there should be a storage box on the front so your propane tanks are out of the weather and slop splashing off your truck. not sure how well this trailer would do in sub zero weather. I do think this is the best model of all the MDC trailers just needs a bit more tweaking for the US market
What an impressive trailer! I like the actual off road abilities of the suspension and the orange rock guards. The annex was a big surprise. Nice touch for sure. Doubles up the space. Did you mention the weight? If so, I must have missed it. Great walk-thru and great job.
Umm, is no one else freaked out by the placement of the furnace or the lithium battery? No microwave? Am I correct, no oven? Or even an Air Fryer? Needs tweaking, especially at that price point
This is designed for camping in the outback with a few tweaks for the USA you don't need a microwave in dry camping cuz you don't have access to park power. If you want to camp in the Parks this is not the model you buy. You buy this because it's going to survive better and do better for dry camping. When it's 100° outside everyday in the outback you are not cooking inside. Obviously this isn't the model for you and that's okay
@@Tobynsocks- With decent li-ion battery(s) 300/600AH and an inverter of say 1800w+ you can certainly use a microwave or even run the AC for a few hours. At 600+ aH you could go all electric using propane only for very cold nights.
Lithium batteries are safe with two caveats, they shouldn’t be charged under 40°F (many have self heating elements), and they should not be disassembled and exposed to water. 💦 + 🔋 = 🔥 they vent no gasses, are safer, can be discharged to 10% without damage, and can last a decade with as many as 10,000 discharge/charge cycles.
Love it! However the price is killing me!
Two things I would like to see would be if you could remove the backrest on the dinette closest to the bed that way it's almost like a lounge chair maybe have a couple tables that swing off the wall like Lagoon tables or instead of a full on dinette you have bar seating under the window which would create a little bit more space maybe more storage. If it was somehow convertible from dinette chaise lounge to Bar Lounge that would be something different

It’s nice to see a really rugged off road trailer that’s made for 2. Most manufacturers say couples trailer sleeps 6.
I”m curious about the price.
Not even going to check the price but I can bet it's far from my budget of 26k.But designed and built well.I like the shower in that unlike the Forge door..your chance of getting locked in....are less.
Its really impressive but most of the outdoor kitchen isn't actually under the awning.
Questions regarding additional storage space
The price of $74,000 is absolutely ridiculous!! People who buys a trailer like those must have more money than brains. You can buy something just as nice cheaper. There are nice things but like she has said over and over it’s not that big of a trailer. That’s is just unbelievable price. Leatherette means it rips easy.
Keep in mind most RV’s have roughly 30% room to play. Given these are new, and off-road semi-capable, they can ask more as someone else will pay it if you or I won’t. 😊
74K is AU dollars.. US would be paying 47K+

If you actually take a trailer down something other then a freshly graded dirt road this is money we'll spent
@@onefastcyclist - Absolutely true, except for the Australian Black Series sold in the USA. They put the dump valves on the back end, just under the bumper… where people take them down rocky roads and snap them off. No big deal, just a month out of service and about a grand if you take it to an RV shop.
47k US is what you be paying not 72K AU pricing as some have stated..
So basically, there is no real use able storage for personal usage, just good for a week or two. To go fishing . Look Good but where is the usable storage. Love the rest room❤.
And upper cabinets. I am a single widow overall it is a classy unit . I will need a place to live. They are on to something fantastic. BUT,

Sharp trailer
I absolutely love this trailer, unfortunately I think it’s a little too heavy for my z71 Colorado, it has a tow rating of 7000 pounds but I wouldn’t want to go that heavy especially since we live on the west coast and would have to tow it over mountain passes frequently but if I had a full size truck I would definitely consider this trailer.
Do they make a similar model that is i designed for off road? I really like the interior space layout for a regular travel trailer.

Get rid of the tv, entertainment center and high end finishes, outdoor kitchen and could bring the price down. I camp to get away from all of that. I like the fans by the bed and the separate dinette. Its just me and the dog so use of space is good. Bathroom is too fancy as well if you are in Backcountry.

Wow, exact same MDC trailer/caravan in Australian (mirror layout for right hand drive) is currently listed for AUD 64K (like USD 50K), why are we being ripped off; they are all made in China?
