Troubleshooting an Intex Pool Pump that Doesn't Seem to Work Right Off the Box

Looking at the plug of the pool pump, one might assume that all that needs to be done is to plug it to a power source, and the pump will turn on.
The plug has 2 buttons. One button is labeled as the Reset button, and the other button is labeled as the Test button.
What you need to know is that the Reset button is the ON button,
and the Test Button is the OFF button.
Press the Reset button to turn the pump on, and press the Test button to turn the Pump Off.

What does it mean when indicator blink green????

How can you connect this to a timer to automate the on / off of the pump? It currently requires resetting each time if you attempt to use a timer.
