Can we just appreciate that Laurie doesn't fake ANYTHING She's not there for perfection. She's just here having fun and being herself. And I love that :D, I love that Kevin and his skills are widening and becoming more ambitious as he goes, he cares about not only the cake but also the mess, and what about the crumb coat, why is it so smooth? I guess he has an amazing teacher.😊🥰😃
I always hated when I would see a cake decorating video and see an issue, cut to and its gone LOL!! WHAT HAPPENED!! I see it all the time and it drives me crazy. As rough as things can be sometimes, I'd rather be real with you and share the struggles.

Urgh the piping! it's so ADORABLE! It's like what a toddler would bring you at the beach throughout the day and it'd be like their ~treasure~ at the end of the day. A bunch of random, pretty, ethereal things. I wanted to say they're my favourite thing but the sails looked 🔥 and the streaks on the body of the cake...I love it. I probably have no standard but I love it so much, theres a lot of love and feelings in that decoration, I think that's what's winning my heart.
Kevin, you did a great job under Laurie's direction. The cake is beautiful. I love the colors and the sails. Laurie you are so creative. Thank you for the tip on how to do the sails.

Your cakes are always amazing! I bake my brother's and mom's cakes for their birthday cakes, and they are both gluten-free. I find those cakes hard to make, and they always turn out as (delicious) mounds of cake. I can't wait to see what your course helps me with! This made my day!
