Finally had Orpheus and Eurydice singing In The Blood for the second time, so decided to take a longer video of that. All story stuff happens before 8:00 and the rest is them singing the song.
Will not be home for this weekend, so there might be a short break before the next video. - Hry

@@RazzyJo Nah. Gods always had lovers and that rarely affected their work (except for Zeus, but that's an excess). Charon probably passed too much time with Hypnos in the 1930s, though.

I think Zag and Nyx need to talk plainly. Its natural to want your mother to be unharmed. He's obviously worried and its the frecking god of war so his caution is warranted.
And Nyx is one of the primordials.

Is also his cousin trying to date his mom, and that's awkward as all hell.
Nyx is one of the few entity in Greek mythology that the Olympians fear
@@Doomroar Well, depending on the player's choices, Zag could be dating 1-2 of his adopted siblings, so the situation is already kind of awkward.

Those types of vocals are the very reason I fell in love with SuperGiant's work with Transistor, and it seems like they only got better since then.
Even with the bar set so high, this is definitely their best work.

hmm, seems like Nyx is just interested in learning more about the Olympians and teaching w.e it is Ares is asking for. Clearly ares is trying to get more but I hope Nyx shuts him down properly. She does it call friendship so looks like the friendzone is already confirmed xD
Ares is not a womanizer like Zeus. And since Nyx already call her relationship with Ares as "friendship" maybe that's what both of them wanted, not just Nyx herself. Ares mentioned his war always done in nighttime and he wanted to "learn and exchange ideas" with Nyx, means he too just want to become friends with the night herself

I wonder if they ever touch on the fact that Poseidon raped Medusa, and Athena turned her into a monster because she was raped her temple, and because she became a monster she was killed by Perseus and had her head used as a weapon. Thou it's possible Dusa is not her and just a play on words. Maid Dusa.
I don’t think this universe follows mythology that closely. Here, Demeter is Zeus’ cousin instead of his sister, and Persephone’s father is a mortal farmer instead of Zeus. For that matter, in the mythology, Dusa would be mounted to Athena’s shield.
Most of the now likeable cast of the game would be really hard to relate to, if everything about the mythos would be here.
That is also a more "modernized" version of the myth from the roman era, written by Publius Ovidius Naso, in classical greek myology medusa is one of the three sisters that are all chthonic monsters born from the ancient marine deities Phorcys and his sister Ceto, so while not rape we get incest.
She is just a gorgon, there is a dialogue in the game where zag wonders if dusa is related to 3 sisters on the surface. Which implies that she is not medusa
that tale is the roman version , written by Ovid. The original greek version had her been a chtonic deity that turns in a monster without the whole Poseidon and Athena.

Alright so im watching these partially to relook at some things but also don’t wanna get spoiled, the beginning was part of the spoilers so after the narrator said “The prince is getting rather good at this” i skipped and it landed on zagreus on his face in the bloody styx and I’ve never laughed so hard i got tears in my eyes yall! 🤣🤣🤣
