Where is the list of banks??? Great info outside of not sharing the banks.
SSS
Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland. SEB is in all three, very quiet Bank but has global reach, Swedbank is also rock solid.
I thought Thailand was worst. They kept changing or demanding a new pin every month. SO if not logged at least once a month,
it is so much of a hassle there!!
Canadian banks now have a choice of having a bank account in Canadian or US dollars. At the bank machines you can also withdraw cash in US dollars from that account.
Which banks?
safest bank is gold under your mattress
Until someone breaks into your house and steals it
Safest bank is Bitcoin* under your hardware-wallet*
The two replies is an interesting point but both gold a crypto have issues. Gold yes someone could steal it, crypto what happens if the internet is turned off?
@@keltonjohnson6197 that’s what bankers tell you to put your money in their bank. They can’t steal your gold if they don’t know where it is. You can drill a hole in your wall and put it in there...
Precious metals besides a small portion in your possession for a doomsday scenario are best kept in an insured privately owned vault in a political environment you trust to be sound and not broke. That offers a buy back option in order for when the day comes when the metals are overvalued and it’s time to leave the asset class for another undervalued one.
In Seoul I was encouraged to open my bank account in an agricultural bank. It was a different experience definitely. The security of the account involves constantly changing numbers, almost like a perpetual changing slot machine interface. Security is never an issue. Btw, the process of doing online banking is ao complex that I have been assigned an assistant to login. Much of the process being carried out in Hangul, it's really interesting!
Too many government regulations shall be involved if you use South Korean bankings. I feel like my money being under the control of the government as if it is not mine. I would not recommend it in the long run. However, Korean banks are all safe: you can put billions of dollars without worrying about losing it. If you have to use a Korean bank, the Kakaobank (mobile banking system) is the best. I know this well because I'm a Korean.
@@discerningacumen Is Kakaobank open to foreign residents yet? Last time I checked only SK citizens were allowed in
What do you think about banking in Chile? I have three banks, Banco de Chile, Bancoestado, and Santander Chile
I like this subject.
Armenia, it has stable banking system, retail banking, corporate banking and investment banking, 17 banks to choose.
Hey Andrew, any resources (books, podcasts, etc.) that give practical how to’s that you would recommend to someone wanting to start investing in real estate?
Very interesting video and very relevant topic for this channel!
Tried to open an account at a Swiss bank a few years ago. Told not possible for US citizen due to FATCA.
you need to find a swiss lawyer to help you do that. google search or youtube search it.
I thought you could if you had dual citizenship to a non US country.
quartermaster1976 I don't think Switzerland allows dual citizenship. There are some EU countries that do but I don't think Switzerland does…
Delt with one of the major Swiss banks directly. They said they were unwilling to have US citizens due to FATCA regs requiring they open up their books if only 1 US citizen was a customer. They did say setting up a trust in the Bahamas was one way around the regs but be very very careful. They said they would notify me if anything changed. I touch base from time to time. Their world's best in class deferred variable annuities were the attraction. The US annuity business is a total rip off compared to what the Swiss offer. They said nothing has changed. The Swiss and the USA don't get along when it comes to this stuff. Goes way back. Pre WW2.
I'm new to your site and CZcams and have lots of questions. However, I have taken an interest in the style of art you feature. On this particular video, the painting of the woman behind you is quite nice. Do you select your art as investment and/or aesthetics? Who is the artist?
🤷♂️ Just wondering that besides Europacific Bank, are there any other banks that open an account without personally visiting the bank ? Any 'smart' enough to make use of secure online interviews, notarize documents, etc etc.
Covid times where travel restrictions are galore, not easy to be visiting banks in foreign locations.
Your NC branding is similar to one of the Canadian banks I use, TD, which has superb service both in Canada and abroad. Amongst solid Canadian banks, Scotia is best in Mexico, however, as I'm guessing you already know. Thanks for this important message. It's one I've personally learned after living abroad (in places like Brazil and Philippines), where accessing funds can be more challenging.
given the Trudeau goverment Canada may not be there long

Why have so much money in a bank? Keep it invested in a brokerage until it's needed, unless your doing it for residency.
I lost about 200 USD in a small SK private bank in 2012 because it went bankrupt and the insurance coverage protected only 50,000 usd.
I tought it was illegal to have money in Switzerland or the Cayman islands Roupen from Toronto ?
Kindly make video on banks with lowest & highest interest rates. And on banks giving loan to foreigners.
did I miss something or he didn't mention a single bank in his entire video ? curiously the vid title is "The Safest Banks in the World for 2020" :D :D :D ... so no comment on any bank whatsoever or why he thinks they can be considered "safe", or what his arguments are to sustain that claim ... just a vague mention to Countries or world regions ..blah blah .. is there gonna be a second part where he actually addresses the topic?
I'd like to get a list of those banks, at least the ones in Canada if possible?????
Just watched the vault now I’m curious
Suggest you update this video. It fails in giving the actual list.
Does Australia's 4 Pillars Policy have anything to do with why its banks are so safe?
I guess the book contains the ‘no name’ list of top banks like this video? Great video apart from the fact that yo didn’t give any of the 50 banks names
list of bank names?
@@HigginsLawLLCWinterHaven sorry I don’t understand the context of your comment?
I think the Ontario government should have a golden Visa especially right now. How much would a Canadian citizenship be worth? I am Canadian myself I'm just curious
Are ANY of those are full reserve banks? Wyoming, US has atleast two coming in the future. The SPDI banks. Those banks will have full liquidity available for their liabilities. I think another way to diversify risk is looking at stable tokens (so called stablecoins), full reserve (fully capitalized), partial metal backed fiat and utility token backed reserves.
What are the safest international and local banks in Mexico?
Hi i want to tell you some thing that is important not about banks but the video , i see this image in background in 2 videos so i was not on focus of what you telling this art in the background is changing the meaning of the video sir that is how i saw it
SO, which ARE the banks that we should use?
Chase Bank is still the best
Excellent information
Glad you liked it James!
How Armenia is safest under war? is this old recording reproduced?
My experience with BMO (Bank of Montreal in Canada) has not been great.
They have no free account, they only give you a free trial for a year. I figured I'd try it out to get an idea, and close my account before the year ends, I live near Canada so it wouldn't be a huge hassle.
But now the Canadian border is closed, and they are charging me for an account I don't use, and I can't reach them over the phone.
I also remember having trouble managing my accounts by phone even pre-corona. You can't do anything on their website, and they never pick up the phone.
I have no problem getting through to them. Maybe because I'm calling from Canada? Maybe you could try calling a local branch (like the one nearest to you). They should have their numbers listed.
@@rickmossop3733 I've tried calling a few local branches, they never pick up. I managed to get ahold of them through their online customer service, but still they are unwilling to close my account and the fees are accumulating. Gotta love these times of Corona....
@@dalethepalemale6855 I've never had a problem getting through but I guess I don't call often. Your account should be attached to local branch though. Maybe that would help? The first 4 digits of your account number should be what is called a transit number. That is essentially the local branch number. If you can narrow down the actual branch your account is attached to maybe they can do something. If they answer.
@@rickmossop3733 Yeah I've tried calling the branch where I opened the account, and also I have the phone number of the BMO employee who worked with me in opening the account. It always goes to voicemail, and I've left her a number of messages. The only way I get any human interaction from this company is through their website messaging which literally has no reply button, so every time I send a message it goes to a new random customer service employee.
Do you know any good banks in Canada that let US citizens open an account? I'd still love to have a Canadian bank account but definitely steering clear of BMO once I finally manage to close the account.
@@dalethepalemale6855 I deal with BMO but they are all probably pretty good. TD, Royal, Scotia Bank, CIBC. They are all pretty big and stable. TD I think has a pretty big footprint in the U.S. so maybe they would be good.

And... What those banks were again? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have roughly 3-4 suitcases of cash to deposit per week. Any recommendations?
You can drop it to my bank :)
Yeah, why don't you first check with a U.S. government outfit called 'FINCEN'.?..I am sure they would be happy to give you all sorts of recommendations! (Unless you want whatever banks you choose to check with them for you....and believe me, they would!)
Wouldn't you just use a bank in the country you are doing business in? I want a Singapore bank to diversify into other currency, but can't imagine leaving any substantial sum sitting in cash.
Some banks will liquidate your money for unclaimed assets and give to the government after 5 years !! If not updated or logged in more than 1 once a year!!
