One of the most fun things I did, back when Electrumite was legal, was splashing SuperPoly into my Pendulum decks, since I could use Electrumite as the Metalfoe for the in theme fusions. Making it disruption and board breaking.
That Qli Scout, was also an apt comparative normal pendulum monster. On top of Kirin and Jowgen, most also PLAYED Scout and Monolith for an easy Cydra Infinity, on top of Kirin or Jowgen.
Another, though not as good, variant was Yang Zing Metalfoe, back in 2017 who was getting over turn one Number 38, Baxia, arc light and set 9 pillars

I've sort of wanted to learn how to play Metalfoes and have wondered what the new support would look like if we had Electrumite back at 1.
"Why Was Metalfoes Tier 1"
1. Because it's Pendulum and it's got Fusions. (not jokingly)
2. Gotta love them Pendulum archetypes that does not xenolock you into anything, makes it easy to find archetypes with incidental synergy.
3. Konami pls unban Electrumite in the TCG already.
2016 was a pretty good year for yu gi oh, diverse decks with different strengths and weaknesses, cost effective top tier decks, tier one wasn't leaps bounds ahead of tier 2 like zoo format. I will say Konami loved to print the phonebook onto a field spell cause of three terraforming, but it also gave a natural card to just hit if things got too crazy which they obviously did cause konami is a card balance after the box sells kinda company.
Hearing Blade have three entirely different voices over the course of three years has been a hell of a ride. Bruh could've been the sole voice actor for a character pre-timeskip, and *two* post timeskips.
FACTS
If there's something that I absolutely adore about Metalfoes is their designs. They looks so awesome and colourful.
I think true Draco Metalfoes are still playable. They will actually get even better once we get the new dracoslayers, since they can search dragonic diagram through Metalfoes.
Yang Zing Metalfoes is some of the most fun I’ve had playing Yu-Gi-Oh!

Ya metal foes do are kind my favorite pendulum archertype. Still wish they had some better searchers though. Not including their link monstet.Da new master rule still sucks for all pendulum's though. #FreePendulumsFromTheLinkZone

Mithrilium didn’t have to be used as a fusion material to float either

I'm really sad you didn't mention YZ metalfoes, it was one of the most fun decks to play back then.
But great video non the less!
I was using Graydlefoes Yubel. Here they were thinking I was just using some vanilla Pendulum deck, when suddenly I Split effect into 2-3 Level 12 monsters. A lot of opponent's had no idea that Graydle decks could be combo decks, having seen so many t-set pass builds. So they had no idea what the hell I was doing.
