@@FinalMorningstar probably did it a little, man was eager for his first ycs top, the funniest thing about that is that nobody would care unless you made a video about it like he did cuz everyone has been abusing the time rules since inception, to the point that you can pin point cards that people side in these events that are specifically meant to cheese out in time. Even at locals I've seen and played against a few people that always stall af, in a not subtle at all way.

Then said in a deck profile "if you don't own a magician's soul get a job", he posted in a Salamangreat Facebook group that he doesn't play salad cuz he only play good decks... that guys is a toxic freak.

Astrograph Sorcerer Special Summons Itself Into the Meta!
Entrance: Astrograph's card flies in from the foreground, before landing on the ground and causing it to appear in a flash of light. *This is a reference to how Astrograph always appears and no one likes it.*
Jab 1: Astrograph pokes its staff forward, a pulse of light coming off of it *This is a reference to that fact that Astrograph Sorcerer holds a staff*
Jab 2: Astrograph pokes its staff forward again, slightly harder, with a slightly larger pulse of light *This is a reference to the fact that Astrograph Sorcerer does indeed hold a staff*
Jab 3/Multijab: Astrograph lowers its staff completely and kicks the opponent back. *This is a reference to how people feel when Astrograph gets summoned in a duel.*
S-tilt: Astrograph spins its staff in front of itself *This is a reference to the fact that Astrograph Sorcerer does indeed hold a staff*
U-tilt: Astrograph lets off a burst of light above itself, hitting any opponents above it. *This is a reference to the light that gets in people's eyes when Astrograph Sorcerer is summoned)
D-tilt: Astrograph spits on the floor. While it inflicts slight damage if it, if it hits the stage, a small pool of spit will appear. If any character runs over the pool (including Astrograph) they will trip and the pool will vanish. There can only be one spit pool on the field at a time. *This is a reference to how Pendulum Players spit on peasants.*
F-smash: Astrograph winds up and holds out its hand. In the direction it cues, Purple Poison Magician appears, lashing out with its whip forwards. This smash attack has surprising range, about that of Corrin's F-smash, and has potent kill power at the tip. *This is a reference to Purple Poison Magician*
U-smash: Astrograph curls up and unleashes its hands upwards. Above it, White Wing Magician appears, thrusting its wand upwards. The wand is small, but produces a large burst of light wind energy around it. The wand itself is the sweet spot with the most damage, while the wind is the sourspot with less damage, but produces more knockback. The very edges of the wind is a windbox that pushes opponents back. *This is a reference to White Wing Magician)
D-smash: Astroagraph winds up and unleashes its hands on either side of it. On either side, Double Iris Magician and Black Fang Magician appear, behind and in front of Astrograph respectively. Double Iris swipes its sword horizontally, while Black Fang thrusts its spear outwards. In terms of strength, Double Iris inflicts more damage, while Black Fang produces more knockback, particularly at the front of its spear. *This is a reference to Double Iris and Black Fang Magicians*
All of Astrograph's Smash attacks have a brief delay from when they are released to when the Magicians appear to attack, so be sure to be careful with them!
Nair: Astrograph spins its staff around itself similarly to Palutena's air. *This is a reference to how no one likes Astrograph, and no one likes Palutena.*
Fair: Astrograph extends its hand forward, causing Dragonpulse Magician to appear, striking forward with its weapon. *This is a reference that Astrograph Sorcerer supports the Magician archetype, of which Dragonpulse is part of*
Dair: Astrograph extends its hand behind itself, causing Dragonpit Magician to appear, thrusting its staff backwards *This is a reference that Astrograph Sorcerer supports the Magician archetype, of which Dragonpit is part of*
Bair: Astrograph crosses its arms and immediately drops downward, plummeting downwards. If this move strikes an opponent, they will be spiked, while Astrograph will bounce upwards. *This is a reference to how when Astrograph is dropped, at least one person is gonna have a bad time.*
Uair: Two wings appear on Astrograph's back, resembling the wings of Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm, which then flap together, striking the air above it. *This is a reference that Astrograph Sorcerer supports the Supreme King archetype, of which Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm is part of*
Ledge attack: Astrography, ducking low, strikes out with its staff as it climbs up. *This is a reference to the fact that Astrograph Sorcerer does indeed hold a staff*
Getup attack: An aura of light flares up around Astrograph as it floats to its feet. *This is a reference to the light given off by the sun which supplies plants with nutrients*
Shield: Astrograph raises its hand, forming a barrier of light. *This is a reference to the light given off by lamps, which light the rooms where Astrograph is often played*
Roll: Astrograph casually drifts in the direction of the roll *This is a representation of Pendulum players drifting through the meta*
Airdodge: Astrograph temporarily vanishes, before reappearing after the airdodge. *This is a reference to how Pendulums vanished for a bit but came back*
Spotdodge: Astrograph glows as it temporarily turns intangible *This is a reference to how Pendulums were untouchable bastards*
Perfect shield: An aura of light flows through Astrograph as it thrusts its hand forward, repelling the attack as the barrier vanishes. *This is a reference to Beyblade Metal Fusion*
Neutral Special: Wisdom-Eye Magician
Wisdom-Eye Magician will appear on the field in front of Astrograph, and, after a moment, glow brightly. In that moment, the player can input any of the four directions or leave the stick neutral. Depending on their input, a different action is taken
Neutral - Wisdom-Eye Magician - Wisdom-Eye stays and swings its scales around itself in a circular motion. Wisdom-Eye stays for 10 seconds, or until it takes 10%
Up - White Wing Magician - Wisdom-Eye is replaced by White Wing Magician who unleashes a torrent of wind around itself. White Wing stays for five seconds, or until it takes 5%
Forward - Black Fang Magician - Wisdom-Eye is replaced by Black Fang Magician, who shoots a bolt of lightning forward. Black Fang shoots twice, or until it takes 10%
Down - Double Iris Magician - Wisdom-Eye is replaced by Double Iris Magician, who summons glowing circles around itself, both firing off pillars of light for a few seconds at a time. Double Iris shoots three times or until its takes 10%
Back - Purple Poison Magician - Wisdom-Eye is replaced by Purple Poison Magician, who surrounds itself with a pool of poison. The pool stays for 10 seconds. Any opponent who walks into it takes 1% every second they remain. Purple Poison stays for 10 seconds, or until it takes 10%
Side Special: Supreme King Gate Zero
Astrograph holds up its staff, summoning Gate Zero in front of it. Gate Zero, while on the field, will reflect any projectiles sent its way. Gate Zero stays until Astrograph uses its Side Special again or it takes 15% of damage.
Up Special: Special Summon
Astrograph vanishes in a flash of light. A Supreme King Gate Infinity appears in a direction of the player's choosing a fair distance away. After a moment, the Infinity is destroyed and Astrograph emerges from the spot Infinity was. Infinity can be destroyed before Astrograph can teleport by inflicting 10% to it. If done, Astrograph will reappear where it vanished and enter freefall
Down Special: Regeneration
Astrograph will flash bright gold. If any of its summons (Wisdom-Eye Magician, Black Fang Magician, White Wing Magician, Double Iris Magician, Purple Poison Magician, Supreme King Gate Zero) have been destroyed by an opponent in the past 5 seconds, Astrograph will teleport to its location and unleash a burst of gold light that knocks back any nearby opponents, while the destroyed summon reappears with its timer reset.
Final Smash: Supreme King Zarc
Astrograph activates its final smash by shooting a pillar of light in front of itself upwards. Any opponents caught in are taken to a mountain as the four dimensional dragons (Odd-Eyes, Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing, Starving Venom) all blast the fighters with their attacks, destroying the mountain. The smoke clears, and the fighters are in a crater as Zarc looms over them, blasting a beam of green energy down on them at blasts them all away. If fighters are over 100% they are automatically KOed
KO animation: Explodes into light as the ygopro stock destruction noise plays at 200%
Victory theme: Can You Feel The Power from Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V, the entire song
Victory animation 1: Astrograph Sorcerer spins its staff as it poses dramatically.
Victory animation 2: With a snap of its fingers, Astrograph vanishes from sight, replaced with Stargazer Magician, who gazes into the camera curiously.
Victory animation 3: Astrograph glows, vanishing into a card that flies off screen, leaving its staff planted into the ground
Losing animation: Astrograph is replaced with but a card in its slot.

This made me cry, my grandma gifted me a full box set of pendelum evolution when it got out it was my first competitive deck and I loved it, she was the reason I got fully immersed into the game...

Actually in OCG here, pendulum ftk is perfectly playable. Even being stronger since anaconda can access to instant fusion more easily.
Wow, that's really interesting! It makes sense because the OCG typically has a higher power level card pool compared to the TCG, however, the OCG has Maxx "C," but even regardless that's really interesting!

Problen is that you really dont want to deal with handtraps. I dont know whats worse; getting hit by impermanence (so no FTK) or by Nibiru (no field) which they drew off of Maxx C
Funny, I never see the FTK show up in any tops, but Magicians were tier for over one year at full power, and still get a lot of tops, and very frequently in their current state.

ghostintheattic - official no they’re not. It’s a good strategy and it’s very interesting but magicians are something different. The routes you can go, the different ways to play around your opponent, etc. it was fun. To much fun apparently
Refined Snack Astro is literally the same as chronograph but for stargazer. If they have one banned, then why not the other and vice versa?
I am so glad you seemed to have taken on board one of the criticisms I had in an earlier video. That you didn't give examples of interactions, instead just naming the cards in the combos. The explanation you gave for the FTK combo, along with what enabled it was perfect. Didn't overly explain all the intricacies of it, but gave a quick and easy rundown of how it worked, and why it was so strong/consistent. Production values are sky high as usual, and really well made. Really hope your channel grows, as you really deserve it.
Pend mags are still my favorite deck of all time. God, Pendulums are just so fun to play. Be it pure magicians, Odd-eyes magicians, Endymion Magicians, etc. I will always love this deck.

The Ftk variant had been around since 2017 and was a 2 card combo with Supreme King Odd-eyes and Darkwurm

I actually use Premiere pro exclusively (although I used to use Vegas).
The trick to that effect on Premiere is right-clicking on a keyframe, hover over temporal interpolation, and then hit continuous bezier. Then, make sure to click on the arrow next to the transform position and, and then you can change the velocity of the animations. This will make the keyframes move in a much smoother pattern.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to Vegas (as everything I did on there was very basic compared to the stuff I'm doing on premiere now), but hopefully, this helped in some way.

Indeed! It probably won't be for a little bit because their history as tier 1 just ended (even though there is also tier 0 spyral), but at some point, I will 100% make a Spyral history.
Pendulums don't need electrumite or endymions. They just need their own link monster. It is a crime that we haven't gotten a link monster for Yuya yet. Just give him a link 3 that works with all of his archetypes and they would be great.

It won't happen anytime soon, but I can see the banned pieces of PePe coming back to 1 and Starving Venom as well as Astro. Pendulum have no representation and are held back in the current MR.

So I think what happened and how we got here was that after electrumite got limited and triff banned, pendulum magicians sort of lost their identity a bit cuz what happened was triff spam deck just did not work anymore without multiple electrum and pure magicians just had the better idea but it wasn't powerful enough to be the top deck . So by the time pendulum was able to start getting great boards again with guardragon, danger thunder was able to so it better. Then although endymion sort powercrept the use of magicians out of the format, it's good boards and decent grind game were overshadowed by orchust and salad. So then pendulum like it's rival true draco, fell into the tier 2 positio where it was still a deck ppl were weary of, but there were better options. So when konami finally axed electrumite, although some variations were able to compete and succeed, there were just better combo decks thst were filling the hole left by orchust and thunder, (mainly spyral and shadoll invoked.)
at this point, and after 3-4 waves of heavy bans on the deck, is it really old age that got them? I don't think Magicians have been actually power crept, it's just hard to function with a deck when all it's consitency pieces/key combo cards are outright banned. Another good example is Orcust, the deck is very low in consistency atm, and not doing anything noteworthy, but once they get girsu, the consistency boost they get will make it shoot up to a power level almost equal to that of the full power build with 3x harp.
@@admontblanc well I guess it is a combination of both, the only way to truly find out is if double iris comes back cuz then magicians can have access to their graphs against, but on the whole until a new pen deck comes out we probably seeing the mechanic in the top tables

I honestly dont understand why there isn’t a choice restriction like in cardfight vanguard, just have nightingale unable to be used with Tyrant Neptune and/or SKstarving venom within the same decklist (and other cards if they arise do the same) so that way the cards stay in the game and they wouldn’t need to be banned

Yes Electrumite, The card that begun the linearity of modern combo decks.
Who wants more pen support personally I think they deserve it by hitting the cards the made the deck a little more powerful in there own right. Having at least one more pen support wave will do the deck good. :D

Two things I walked away with-
As someone who has grown a fondness for Pendulums, Trif is a meme.
Also, I wish you had touched on that brief time when Spell Counter FTK was around, and Pendulums were FTKing using Tempest Magician.
