All that noise for nothing...... the suspect still got away, if the suspect was going thru the streets at those same speeds then the officer should have either called for back up or temporarily suspended the pursuit. HE put HIS own life in danger and OTHER people, could have killed innocent bystanders with his ego/vehicle.
Should be illegal for police to chase cars/bikes in most cases. All it does is vastly increase the risk of injury or death for anyone in the area. Should only be allowed if the suspect poses an active danger to the community (murderer, active shooter, kidnapper etc.)
Meanwhile the poor truck owner probably didn't get a new truck.. more than likely he got excuses and a crappy payout. I doubt these clowns care when they destroy someone's personal property, on top of everything else that was done wrong.
The police will grade their own homework again and conclude that this officer did nothing wrong. Meanwhile in common sense land, everyone of us would get arrested and lose our license for that.
